Review: Mayhem Rock Festival 2026

Mayhem retuned in 2026, this time to a much bigger venue, The Nest, part of Notts County football club. I have to say that on the whole it ‘s a pretty decent venue. With a 1000+ eager rock fans inside, it made for a great atmosphere.
I’ll be honest (always a good policy) and say some of the bands weren’t my thing, my favorites were in fact the last three bands of the line-up, South OF Salem, Eclipse & H.E.A.T.
The crowd were certainly into all the bands playing. No lackluster kick-off to proceedings. They were there for the live music, plus a lot of catching up with chums!
The first announcements for Mayhem Rock Festival 2027 will be revealed soon, and based on the feedback of this year’s event, it’ll be interesting to see how the organisers top things.
