Review: Marco Mendoza – New Direction

‘New Direction‘ is the new album from Marco Mendoza, who used to be with such bands as Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, Journey, The Dead Daisies and many more. It’s a release full of powerful songs. starting with the thundering ‘Take It To The Limit‘, a track that is so catchy it will get you moving straight away.

The ballad ‘Walk Next to You‘, has a hint of ’80s Whitesnake and a touch of Def Leppard vocals to it. ‘Scream and Shout‘, another memorable number, has an AC/DC feel to it.

This a fine album, from the first track to the end title track ‘New Direction‘, a track that is the perfect way to finish this opus. With fantastic vocals from Mendoza and a tight band behind him, ‘New Direction‘ is sure to be among my top favourite of albums of 2022.
