Echoid Release Lyric Video For ‘Break The Circuit’

Echoid, the outstanding new alliance of musicians from the ranks of bands such as Noveria, Alicate, Burning Black, Order of Minerva and the Vivaldi Metal Project, have unveiled a brilliant new lyric video – ‘Break The Circuit‘! ‘Break The Circuit‘ is taken from Echoid’s incredible debut album, ‘The Silent Era‘. ‘The Silent Era‘ is an album that explores what it means to be human in an increasingly digital age, where everyone is supposedly connected and yet we have never been more isolated and alone. The band explain the role that ‘Break The Circuit‘ has to play in this unflinching exploration of the fractured human condition…

“‘Break the Circuit‘ is a declaration of independence from the forces that shape our thoughts, emotions, and identities. Within the wider themes of ‘The Silent Era‘, the song gives voice to someone who begins to recognise the patterns controlling their life – and decides to interrupt them. The circuit represents a self-repeating cycle of conditioning, distraction, and conformity; breaking it means reclaiming the ability to choose. “I won’t be another silent sound” captures a central tension in the album’s title: a world full of communication can still silence the individual voices within it. And Beneath the anger lies a desire to recover a sense of self that has been buried under expectations, commands, and noise. Unplugging becomes an act of remembrance as much as rebellion. ‘Break the Circuit‘ offers a forceful expression of the album’s struggle to preserve human identity. Its final declaration – “Uncontrolled, Unplugged, Free” – marks the speaker’s movement from programmed obedience towards conscious self-determination.”

‘Break The Circuit‘ features magnificent riffs and a chorus that raises its defiant standard in your memory after a single listen. It’s a rousing battle cry formed from consummate musicianship and accomplished song writing and is as creative and imaginative musically as it is perceptive and engaging lyrically.

A meeting of musical minds from both Italy and Sweden Echoid are a new force in modern, melodic metal, featuring members of established, respected bands like Noveria, Alicate, Burning Black, Order of Minerva and the Vivaldi Metal Project. Together, these experienced musicians have created something truly special under the Echoid banner; something dynamic and dramatic, creative and imaginative, formed from consummate musicianship and accomplished song writing. Now allied with Pitch Black Records, eternal champions of majestic heavy metal, Echoid are ready to unveil their debut album – a stunning exploration of what it means to be human in the digital age – ‘The Silent Era‘!

“If this is connection, why do I feel alone?” – ‘Offline’ – Echoid

‘The Silent Era‘ opens with the introductory instrumental, ‘Future Tense‘, a glorious burst of light and energy, full of exhilarating power and wonderful guitar work, conjuring layers of spellbinding atmosphere and shaping the reality of the album to come. And then, so much of what Echoid have to offer is made clear by the adrenaline rush, the excitement invoked by the driving riffs and electrifying leads of ‘The Noise‘. Jonas Erixon‘s vocals are rich, warm and immensely strong, with great range and clarity of expression, carrying effortlessly the emotive, melancholic melodies that wind their way through the song, perfect for this exploration of the fractured human condition.

That dark edge is present throughout the album, be it in the powerful riffs and high impact rhythms of ‘Fake Faces‘, the deep sadness of ‘Offline‘ or the sombre reflection of ‘Ghost in the Feed‘ with its guitar solo that beautifully balances breathtaking technique and depth of emotion. The guitar solos are another of ‘The Silent Era”s great strengths, providing dazzling passages of illumination in every song, genuine highlights alongside the immense choruses and irresistible hooks.

‘Between The Lines‘ sees Jonas Erixon joined by celebrated vocalist Natalia Sarsgård, their voices blending in a sublime sound elixir, while ‘Break the Circuit‘ and ‘Static Crown‘ show the muscle and metallic drive in the Echoid armoury – two rousing battle cries against the new world order. Perhaps ‘The Silent Era”s crowning glory and defining statement though, comes in the form of ‘Still Human‘ with its intricate, dancing guitar motif. This is a bold and brilliant statement of defiance, declaring that the machines will never understand or replicate the emotions, the wonderful illogical madness, the unpredictable kindnesses and cruelties, the dreams that make us human. This song is an anthemic, heart-lifting, spirit-stirring triumph! When the album concludes with the instrumental ‘After the Silence‘, a piece which sums up all that has come before – its story, its message – without words, the listener too is left speechless.

Meticulously mixed and mastered by Echoid guitarist Francesco Mattei, who has also helped bring to life albums by Ethernity, Noveria, Risen Crow and more, ‘The Silent Era‘ sounds magnificent. Each instrument has the space to sing, from those soaring vocals and spiralling solos to the inventive bass work of composer and lyric writer Alberto Rigoni and the formidable drum work of Andrea Zen. The album artwork and band imagery are all tied inextricably to the album’s exploration of the changing human experience in our technology dominated world – the increasing disconnect from reality, the lack of genuine, intimate connection, the malleability of truth and our personal reduction to just another screen name amongst a million others. ‘The Silent Era‘ is a fantastic album of melodic metal and an important, thought-provoking spotlight on the uncomfortable truths of our lives.

‘The Silent Era‘ will be available on CD and digital formats from Pitch Black Records on November 7th, 2026.
