‘Sweet Oblivion‘ is Fugitive’s 4th single release from their forthcoming 5th studio album ‘Tempus Fugit’ which is planned for release later this year through guitarist Michael Angel‘s own label CAT Records. ‘Sweet Oblivion’ continues the band’s friendship and collaboration with legendary artist, songwriter and producer Russ Ballard.
Mike states “Russ wrote and produced the track, recording his parts at ‘The Warehouse’ but he very kindly gave us the opportunity to contribute and collaborate on the writing of the song, an experience we will hold in our hearts until our last breath. It’s been an exciting time working with Russ again, building on the success of our previous tracks ‘Raised on Rock 2.0’ and ‘One Year Straight’ – and continuing our friendship with Russ. He’s such a cool human being, so busy with his own shows in the UK and internationally, but he found time to support us with this song. We are very humbled by his interest in the band. We’re so proud to present this track to the world”.
