The release follows international radio and press acclaim for ‘Slay The Dragon‘, produced by Christopher Johnson (Evanescence, Scott Weiland, Josh Todd), which earned praise for its explosive blend of hard rock, punk and alternative influences. Powerplay Rock and Metal Magazine described it as “ready made for stardom”
Formed in Los Angeles in 2006 by Bronx-born frontman Tony West, Blacklist Union are known for explosive live performances and a fearless fusion of hard rock, punk and alternative influences. Raised on The Ramones, Bad Brains and New York hardcore, West relocated to Los Angeles, collaborating with guitarist Todd Youth (Murphy’s Law / Danzig) and members of the Malfunkshun camp linked to his longtime inspiration, Andy Wood, before forming the band.
With ‘Jackson’, Blacklist Union deliver a rebellious new twist on a timeless classic, bringing together rock ’n’ roll danger, country soul and undeniable chemistry between Tony West and Lorraine Lewis.
The band will also head to Europe this year for a full run of dates alongside Faster Pussycat and Femme Fatale, bringing their high-energy live show to 19 cities. Full tour dates listed below.
