Review: Maid Of Stone 2023

Unfortunately I was unable to make Friday’s proceedings, so the Saturday was my first day on site. Having previously been to several Ramblin’ Man festivals at Mote Park I was wondering how similar the layout was going to be. Overall the layout was smaller but well laid out, although the positioning of the VIP area seemed a tad odd, tucked as it was off to one side. Us photographers well well catered for which was great, having a decent ‘base camp’ makes things easier for sure.

There was a decent selection of food venders and a small smattering of sellers including Black Feather Design and The Guitarwrist as well as a local music school and the local Harley Davidson dealership. Whilst the weather on the Saturday was a tad wet, it certainly didn’t stop the fans or the bands for that matter enjoying themselves. Plus we had the eye catching Area 51 performers entertaining us all.
