Power Metallers Wings of Destiny are proud to release their new single ‘Never Surrender‘ via Wormholedeath worldwide.
The song was written initially by Marco Garau (Magic Opera, Derdian) as a piano piece for his solo album. He gave this theme to Anton Darusso to see what he can come up with (lyric-wise and arrangement-wise). Applying WOD style to the piano instrumental it turned into a power/symphonic melodic metal piece and by adding blasting solos by David Shankle in a classical «old school» manner it even transformed more into a heavy tune.
‘Never Surrender‘ is about the life of an inspiring musician, artist, or novelist who is dedicating his life to creating fantasy stories & music and even though life is challenging and can be very hard at times this artist never surrenders and keep going strong. One more positive melodic metal song by the band in such a unique style, one more anthem for the fans to sing.

Wings of Destiny is a Power Metal band originally from Costa Rica, founded at the end of the year 2013, influenced by such bands as Helloween, Rhapsody of Fire, Angra and Symphony X; nevertheless through the time the band managed to develop a very particular and recognizable sound creating a cult following among fans all around the world. Wings of Destiny was originally called only Destiny, but due to the existence of another band of the same name (band from Sweden), decided to change its name to Wings of Destiny (known, also, as WOD) in the year 2014.
