UK rockers Blitz are back with another contagious anthem, their new single ‘Rock Show‘ is about growing up rock, no fads, just blood sweat and Rock n Roll.
Blitz are an explosive 3 piece Rock extravaganza from Nottingham UK that deliver a high octane take no prisoners live onslaught and continue to tear the roof off of venues around the UK leaving crowds hungry for more. Formed in 2015, Blitz are – Stuart Corden – lead vocals and bass, Kevin Simpson – guitar and Mat Davis – drums and vocals. The band released a 7 track EP in 2016 followed by their debut album ‘Welcome to the Rock Show‘ released in 2019 via City Of Lights Records, receiving staggeringly positive reviews worldwide. Their highly anticipated follow up second album ‘Fight To Survive‘, released by KSM Records And Entertainment in 2020, continued the success of their debut album. ‘Fight To Survive‘ gaining even better reviews and recommendations from the rock press- Power Play Magazine, Fireworks, HRH Japan’s Burn magazine, Germany’s Hard Line Rock, Hard Break Out Sound,. The press were embracing the Blitz sound.
The singles ‘Rock City Nights‘ and ‘Waiting for a Miracle‘ were featured on Dean Jackson’s BBC introducing show. The band’s plans for live shows in 2020 were hijacked due to Covid 19 so faced with a World venue close down Blitz regrouped and recorded a song in lockdown while not being in the same room called ‘We’re All Right‘ a rallying call to the Rock community to join together by sending in signs saying ‘We’re All Right‘ to be featured in the songs video. The song caught fire and people from every corner of the globe got involved ( Japan, Brazil, USA, Germany, Australia, to name a few) bringing Rock fans together in a blast of positivity at a time when the world needed it.
In December of 2020 Blitz released there Christmas single ‘I Believe In Christmas‘, the song gained great reviews declaring the band a Modern day Slade, the song gained radio play on the BBC and world wide while raising money for Cancer research, the band once again proving there’s nothing they can’t do. 2021 continues to prove nothing can stop the Blitz train, the band hit the studio again to record the track ‘Keep Moving‘ on a totally new single scheduled for release in the Summer as a feel good party anthem that Blitz do so well. A video for the single is soon to be released shot by Jay Hillyer of Black Star Raiders, Wayward Sons fame. After listening to the track reviewer Jamie Burns said “‘Keep Moving‘ should propel Blitz into the rarified stratosphere of Rock n Roll greatness were they belong.”
