Following the release of their debut EP last week, the young Swedish quartet keep the momentum going with a song that puts their love of classic Hard Rock and Sleaze firmly in the spotlight.
‘WTF‘ shows the band’s more rebellious and unapologetic side. While tracks such as ‘Wake Up Dead‘ and ‘The Story Goes…‘ explore darker and more serious territory, ‘WTF‘ brings the focus back to the raw energy, swagger and larger-than-life attitude of the hard rock bands that helped shape the group’s musical identity.
The new video continues the band’s ambitious visual concept for ‘Wake Up Dead‘, with each of the EP’s five tracks receiving its own official music video. Rather than treating the videos as an afterthought, Wasted Wizards have made them an integral part of their debut release, giving every song its own visual identity.
Released on October 16th, ‘Wake Up Dead‘ features five original tracks that bring together the larger-than-life spirit of ’80s arena rock, the raw edge of ’90s grunge and the emotional intensity of 2000s emo rock. From the sleaze-driven attitude of ‘Wannabe Rockstar‘, ‘My Oh My‘ and ‘WTF‘ to the more introspective side of the title track and ‘The Story Goes…‘, the EP introduces a young band with a clear passion for hard rock and plenty of room to explore beyond its traditional boundaries.
