After a long period away, French melodic metal band Born From Lie are back with ‘Into Madness‘, a powerful new chapter that sees the band return to their darkest roots.
Formed in Paris in 2014, Born From Lie have released three albums through Brennus Music. Throughout their music, the band has explored the darker side of the human soul, confronting themes of inner struggle and the human condition, mixing melodic rock, heavy metal, and more aggressive influences.
Following the release of their third album, ‘The New World Order Part 1‘, the band split when members Jérôme and Pascal went on to form Jirfiya with singer Ingrid Denis. After Jirfiya came to an end and following a long break, Jérôme Thellier decided to rekindle the flame and bring Born From Lie back to life.
“The album was a long road filled with doubts, questions and uncertainty. I often wondered whether I could still make the album I wanted to make, and how to do it the right way. In the end, I stopped imposing limits on myself and simply created the record I had always wanted to make. Into Madness is the result — an album born from that journey, and one that finally captures the sound I have been searching for all these years. I am incredibly proud of it.” — Jérôme Thellier
The first glimpse of ‘Into Madness‘ comes with ‘Our Darkest Hour‘, accompanied by a powerful new video.
The song turns its attention away from the battlefield itself and towards those left behind, telling the story of war from the perspective of mothers who watch helplessly as their children are sent to fight and risk their lives in a conflict with no real justification and no reason to exist.
‘Into Madness‘ will be released on November 6th, 2026, on digital version only.
