Melodic Hard Rockers Crusader return with new single ‘Breaking Out‘, having left everyone speechless in 2025 with their EP ‘In For The Kill‘.
Now there’s some news and updates from the British band:
“To thank you for your support and to celebrate the imminent vinyl & merch release for ‘In For The Kill‘ we’re releasing two bonus tracks from the IFTK recording sessions, including the single ‘Breaking Out‘ and bandcamp exclusive ‘Standing In The Shadows‘ to follow. These will be included in the upcoming vinyl release.”
Crusader, these immensely talented Englishmen prove impressively that it is still possible to triumph into the scene with a real gem out of nowhere.
The bravura balancing act of the quartet around extremely capable vocalist Tommy Baptiste is based directly in the heyday of the 1980s right up to the present day – and the wonderful EP ‘In For The Kill‘ knows how to inspire immediately with an enormously fresh overall sound in addition to upliftingly energetic, completely fresh-sounding song material: just through and through awesome classic melodic hard rock/heavy metal!
For the time being, Crusader have deliberately decided to let the music of their release speak for itself and thus stimulate the imagination and fantasy of the listener – as was often the case in the good old days when you only had one LP and knew absolutely nothing about the band in question.
