Symphonic metal band Midnightmares just released their new single/video ‘Mortalize‘, taken from the upcoming album ‘Mortalis‘ (out on October 4th, 2025).
For the epic duet song ‘Mortalize‘, the band worked together with legendary vocalist Ralf Scheepers (Primal Fear).

We worked very hard on the single and video and we are therefore very proud of the final result. ‘Mortalize‘ premiered on our YouTube channel where we had a live chat with our fans. The upcoming album ‘Mortalis‘ is the next step for the band after their debut album ‘Shadow People‘, which was released in October 2024.
‘Mortalis‘ contains ten stunning songs, each of them telling a captivating story. Therefore, the band also will release a storybook alongside the album as a limited edition.
All songs were recorded, mixed and mastered by Gio Smet at Gio Smet Records.

Midnightmares is a dark, symphonic/gothic metal band, formed in the winter of 2023 by Belgian musician/producer Gio Smet & Mexican singer Mariel Gimeno.
