Drawing inspiration from legends like The Allman Brothers, Black Sabbath, and Gov’t Mule, the trio blends classic rock soul with the grit of ’90s rock to forge a sound that’s unmistakably their own.
Formed during the pandemic in 2020, Virginia Sweet is composed of Jason Dove (vocals and bass), Jason Jump (lead guitar) and Ricky Parker (drums).
Their chemistry has produced a raw, soulful vocal style, electrifying guitar riffs, and a rhythm section that captivates audiences. Their debut EP ‘The Revival‘ released in summer 2021, followed by a collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Mikal Blue in 2022. After 80 high-voltage shows in 2024, they released Virginia Sweet, ‘Vol. 1‘, solidifying their place in the rock landscape.
