First bands announced for 2025!

Kira Mac – is a band built on straight up old school blues rock riffs with a modern edge. a lot of flares, soul, and double shot of rock n roll. Twinning power house vocals and a killer guitar lead, they’re a force to be reckoned with. They’re a musical collection made up of misfits from different corners of the country, from Stoke to Hull, and by chance they met in the middle in Manchester in 2018. As a band collective, that has taken influence from great bands and artists that have come before them, raised on old school, rock, metal, blues and everything else in between.

Burnt Out Wreck – Gary Moat has traded the back in the day drum stool for the microphone and the opportunity to front his own, unpretentious old school, classic guitar-rock outfit. Following the disbandment of Scottish rockers Heavy Pettin, Gary kept himself busy by writing songs and performing and developing his vocal style with, first, Mother’s Ruin (who rose from the late 80s ashes of Heavy Pettin in 1991) and, latterly, Burnt Out Wreck. While compared frequently to Bon Scott and Marc Storace, which he takes as the highest voiced compliment, Gary has his own imitable vocal style, which suits the high energy, rock and roll swagger and anthemic nature of the Burnt Out Wreck songs.

The Ashley Sherlock Band – is a gritty blues rock trio from Manchester, combining catchy vocal melodies and a dynamic rhythm section to create their signature sound. Nominated for Young Blues Artist of the Year 2021, their material presents a modern outlook on the sounds of the deep south with a fantastic vocal range and song writing style. Having supported international artists such as Kris Barras Band, The Quireboys and Laurence Jones; Ashley Sherlock Band have been featured on Planet Rock as well as other popular radio stations, and appeared at numerous festivals appealing to multiple genres.

Georgia Nevada – is recognised for her commanding presence and musical prowess. With four chart-topping singles to her credit and a nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year’ at the 2021 British CMA Awards, Nevada has solidified her position within the industry as a skilled performer, songwriter and musician. Her performances at headline shows and major festivals across the country present an electrifying journey into her next chapter, one not to be missed.

Ghost of a Sprig Off…Spriggan Mist vs Ghost of the Machine.
Have your say in a debate that has been raging on par with jam then cream or cream then jam! (Although obviously it’s cream then jam…)
We have both of these amazing bands scheduled to play on the Saturday of the Festival but how do YOU want to do it…? Would you prefer to get the party started early with a healthy dose of dancing and fantastical faery tales, followed by a chance to rest your legs and stand in awe with an intense and cerebral slice of pure prog rock? Or would you prefer to be blown away by an epic set of long-form prog, before you party and dance your socks off into the evening? The choice… is yours!! Place your vote by 1pm at the Festival and make your mark on the CRF running order.

The Soul Revival – has been making waves in the rock music scene with their latest release, “Dark Shadows In My Heart.” Formed in 2023, The Soul Revival quickly garnered a dedicated fanbase with their dynamic sound and captivating stage presence. Drawing inspiration from classic rock legends while infusing their unique contemporary edge, the band has carved out a distinct niche in the music world.

The Soho Dukes – They won’t ever admit it, but Soho Dukes are having a whale of a time. Contrary to medical advice and all good taste, the Dukes have smuggled out two magnificent albums, ‘Bar Fights & Tuppenny Uprights’ in 2021 and, very recently, ‘Golden Age Of The Barber’s Chair’. Glowing reviews of both albums and the Dukes’ boisterous live gigs have drawn comparisons with Rolling Stones, Small Faces, Heavy Metal Kids, Madness, Dr Feelgood, Mott The Hoople, Ian Dury and many others – even the Sex Pistols. Such a varied list of luminaries suggests there’s something truly original going on here.
