Main man, David James Smith, spoke about this new single, “I feel ‘The Wire Defines‘ captures that universal experience of feeling trapped in the daily grind. I was inspired by a remark I overheard, “I wish it was 1976”, so the song evokes nostalgia for simpler times, contrasting them with the frustrations of modern life. Yet, amidst the yearning for the past, the song offers a glimmer of hope, suggesting that we can break free from the chains that bind us. It’s a powerful anthem about finding solace in memories and discovering the strength to change our present. I hope it resonates with our audience.

With regards to the album ‘Ain’t No Saint‘, David continued, “The new album reflects a transformative period marked by personal challenges for me particularly. You’ll find that each track is a heartfelt expression, a diary entry in you will, capturing moments of struggle and triumph. Its some of my most personal work to date.

Of the tour with The Karma Effect, David said, “We’ve enjoyed seeing the recent growth and success of our brothers in The Karma Effect and we can’t wait to join them on their Promised Land Tour. Rest assured; we’re going to bring our A-Game every night. Its going to be one hell of a run, that we hope people will love!
