Nightblade have unleashed a stunning reimagining of the Gerry Rafferty mega hit, ‘Baker Street‘, out now. The release marks the 46th anniversary of the original launch of this classic track, and in true Nightblade style, the band have craftily retained the key essence of the song, whilst also placing their own markings all over the track. The end result is a barnstorming single that is sure to grace radio far and wide, and an engrossing video that is an absolute must-watch!
Never ones to rest and take it easy, Nightblade have just delivered their fourth album in an incredible four years. The innovative rockers’ superb new album, ‘That’s The Way You Want It‘, boasts ten powerful cuts that are deeply diverse and of the highest quality. The album has surpassed their previous work, and in doing so, has garnered widespread critical acclaim. The record also includes the band’s new cover single, ‘Baker Street‘.
To date, the impressive UK rockers have racked up constant praise and much regard for their recorded work. Powerplay Magazine, Kerrang! Radio, HRH Magazine, RAMzine, and Fireworks Magazine have all backed their releases. The band have also acquired potent support from many established online publications such as Maximum Volume Music, Moshville, Rock N Load Magazine, and Click Roll Boom to name just a select few.
The band will now play a special live performance at HMV in Brierley Hill, to mark both the release of their album, ‘That’s The Way You Want It‘, and their mesmerising new single, Baker Street.
Nightblade play live on Saturday 3rd February from 12pm at HMV, Merry Hill Shopping Centre, Brierley Hill.
