Lickin’ Entertainments are proud to announce a Double Header of Southern Rock for May 2024. Featuring two of the hottest talents to come out of the UK & USA.
From the UK, Tom Killner. This young guy has the soulful prowess of someone twice his 27 years. Infusing Southern Rock & Blues with the storytelling of Country and Americana, Tom has made quite the impression since bursting onto the scene. Signing with L.A based Cleopatra Records early on in his career and releasing two albums for them ‘Hard Road’ & ‘Live’ he decided that being independent was the right move. Since releasing ‘Get Back Up’ and ‘Church House Sessions’ Tom has gained fantastic critical acclaim, however, it’s on the stage that Tom is firmly at home with his blistering performances that dig deep within the audiences souls. Catch him in these intimate venues while you still can, I assure you, you will NOT be disappointed. Tom is currently recording his new yet to be titled album set for release in the first half of 2024.
All the way from deep within the Southern Appalachians in the USA, Hush Money. Amalgamating good old Southern Rock, Classic Rock with a hint of Blues if it’s got a guitar then the guys love it. Lead by brothers Greg Weaver (lead vocals) and Seth Weaver (lead vocals/rhythm guitar) they started off like many bands playing smoke filled bars across the state. Completing the line up is their cousin Nathaniel Newberry (bass) & Caleb Logan (lead guitars). Taking the Southern Rock element to new levels with their full on live show they’re a band who started a ripple that’s fast becoming a wave. With their album ‘Industry Standard’ Hush Money are forging their Southern Rock credentials on the world. Catch them for the first time in the UK on this tour!
