Stefan Berggren’s ‘These Are The Times’ Released June 4th, 2021; ‘Burning Burning (The Last Band On Earth)’ Released Today

Stefan Berggren, one of Sweden’s finest Rock voices, will release his new solo album ‘These Are The Times‘ LP, CD & digital, via his own label Grandjam Production on June 4th, 2021.

Today, the second single from the album ‘Burning Burning (The Last Band On Earth)‘ is released.

Stefan Berggren comments: “The song is about when I got Corona. I got bilateral pneumonia and 40 degrees fever for 14 days. And was ironing. Music jobs disappeared. And that on a feverish occasion, I believed that me and my band had done the last gig on earth. We played our last gig in November 2020.

About the artist:

Stefan Berggren has worked as a singer / frontman with well-known bands and artists such as Uriah Heep, Snakes in Paradise, M3 – Classic Whitesnake, The Company of Snakes, Bernie Marsden, with Lee Kerslake (Ozzy, Uriah Heep) in Berggren Kerslake Band and Don Airey Band. Berggren has released a solo album before (“Stranger in a Strangeland”, 2016) Now he is ready to go out on the roads with his own, hand-picked band, starting in the summer of 2021.

The aforementioned Don Airey, the keyboard legend from Deep Purple, guest stars here on the song Wild Flowers

Wild Flowers‘ “The song is about feeling outside society“, says Stefan. “You try to find your place in life. Right now in Corona times, you go as a musician in the times of waiting for something to happen, whatever. Frustrating. You are not allowed to work. The only thing you can do is write new music. It will be doomsday rock with prophecy.”

Stefan Berggren is from Väsby, Stockholm and Lives now in Hornstull, Stockholm.
