Chilean Proggers Aisles Release New Live Studio Video

Acclaimed Chilean prog rockers Aisles have released a new in-studio video for their track ‘Still Alive‘.

Taken from their 2016 album ‘Hawaii‘, ‘Still Alive‘ is from the band’s Live from Estudio del Sur ‘ sessions, and a new take on the original track.

The band comment: “Still Alive is one of the most representative songs, and maybe the saddest, on our latest album Hawaii

“Capturing that feeling of hopelessness was a challenge both for the band and for the director of the video, Bernardo Quesney.”

They add: “Sonically, it is different from the album version because it is much less processed. What you hear is Aisles‘ organic live sound, just like you would hear it at one of our concerts. Even the tempo of the song changed as a result of that search.”

A shining example of prog rock’s universal reach, the Chilean band, formed more than 15 years ago, have a long and illustrious history; current album ‘Hawaii‘ is just the next step in this band’s highly impressive journey, garnering significant acclaim. Previously nominated in the Italian Prog Awards, the band are the only South American group to be invited to France’s Crescendo Festival de Rock Progressif. ‘Hawaii‘ is Aisles‘ fourth studio album, a monumental, immersive, beautiful double-disc journey, reminiscent of Camel, Yes, Rush, Genesis, Marillion and more.
