Canuck hard rock quartet Old James has just released the video for new single, “Kill Off the Rose,” which is a companion piece to their current Indiegogo campaign
The campaign is running in order to fund the band’s upcoming full length album ‘Speak Volumes‘, which is due to be recorded later this year in Los Angeles. The perks included in the campaign include lessons from guitarist, Andy Thompson, a Dean guitar, lessons from drummer Chris Stephenson and a personally written song, amongst others..
The band, who have electrified audiences across North America on runs with the likes of Uli Jon Roth / Vinnie Moore (on the XG Guitar Tour) and Girlschool / Crucified Barbara, are primed and ready to take things to the next level and ‘Speak Volumes’ will be the springboard for that target. Drummer Chris Stephenson says, “We’ve been working extremely hard this summer, writing and demoing songs which we’re very proud of. We’re not only beyond excited to be recording ‘Speak Volumes’ in Los Angeles, but also to see the positive outcome all of this hard work and dedication will be. Working with the right producer will be key.”
