The Dead Daisies ‘Daisyland’ UK Winter Tour Set To Kick Off November 10th
In a time when certain parts of the music industry are trying to claim that ‘Rock is Dead’, The Dead Daisies are leading a charge that’s taking them to the road not only in clubs and concert halls but straight to the very heart of rock music lovers and musician’s communities.
The American All-Star Rock Collective comprised of Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, The Scream), Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy), Deen Castronovo (Bad English, Journey) and David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink) has been known to put their fans first in everything they do which has garnered them a groundswell of support akin to the 70s rock bands we all know and love.
Venues will open their doors one hour early to the first 50 in-line with the band playing an intimate, private ‘Daisyland‘ Acoustic Set after which they’ll mingle, say hi and sign albums, posters etc. The goal is to rekindle that close connection the way it used to be, when bands would regularly meet some of their audience at music events, giving their time to the people that bought their records and concert tickets, unlike the hundreds of dollars some bands charge in today’s music world for a meet & greet.
To that end, The Dead Daisies are taking it to the streets across the UK throughout November and can’t wait to bring the house down on their ‘Daisyland’ UK Winter Tour performing 120-minute sets including an acoustic interlude each and every night, with two different sets lined up for the two London gigs. Fans who buy a special two-night ticket for the London shows will also receive a commemorative exclusive laminate.

Superlative special guest acts from across the rock spectrum are set to enthrall at the band’s nine headline concerts, from trusted classics Diamond Head, Tygers Of Pan Tang, Chrome Molly, Oliver / Dawson Saxon and No Hot Ashes, through to new UK rock sensation Massive Wagons.

The Dead Daisies are returning to the UK!
Partnering with Academy Events & Planet Rock, the band is very pleased to announce they’ll be back in the UK playing 8 shows throughout the country, adding special guests from both ends of the rock spectrum: trusted classics Diamond Head, Tygers of Pan Tang, Chrome Molly and Oliver/Dawson Saxon as well as Britain’s new rock sensation Massive Wagons for some mammoth nights of Rock!
Every night will kick off with The Dead Daisies doing a special ‘Welcome to Daisyland‘ Acoustic Set before doors for the first 50 in line for the show! As if that was not enough, The Daisies will perform a special 120 minute set every night – with two different set-lists for both London shows!
Fans who buy a special two-night ticket for the London show will also receive a commemorative, exclusive laminate!
In addition to the above, the guys are also confirmed to play at Hard Rock Hell, Planet Rockstock, Winterstorm and Monstersfest.
As a treat and for those who we unfortunately missed at the Steelhouse Festival in July, the band will do a special, Steelhouse-ticket-holders-only Acoustic Show on the eve of their UK Tour (in Manchester on November 9th – full details to be announced), giving them a chance to participate in a Daisyland Acoustic Session without having to join a queue as well as giving them access to discounted tickets for the entire UK tour.

Okay, let’s bake a cake – a “Rock” cake, of course! Let’s see …… as it’s a “Rock” Cake we’ll need some very specific ingredients: a dash of Kiss; a couple of teaspoons of Grand Funk Railroad; some Black Sabbath; a pinch of Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, Whitesnake and Motley Crüe, then blend with some Jack Daniels. When the mix is ready, place in the rock ‘n’ roll oven for the last fifty odd years and ta daaaaa – you have yourself the new Dead Daisies album.
It’s now ready to serve so here goes but, wait, it’s so hot when it comes out of the oven that your house goes up in flames. Yes, the tenuous link has arrived, the band did indeed ‘Burn It Down‘ lol. We got there in the end! In a roundabout way, what I’m saying is that this is a band which truly wears every single one of its’ influences on its’ sleeve and when it comes to solo sections in a live setting, they play them in place of just the normal solos one might expect to hear.
I think, though, there are less sing a long choruses and hooks on this album (if compared to their previous one,) but that trade off has been balanced by the heavier direction they’ve taken on this album. Does it deter in any way, I hear you ask? No, not in my opinion. This band is superb and is just a straight ahead, good old fashioned, rock band.
Someone said to me they were just a rich man’s plaything. Well, he may well be indulging himself and employing some of the best musicians around. If I had the money, I would – but, so what. These guys are still putting their respective names to something and you’re only as good as the last thing you do, so I would dismiss that statement as rubbish and ignorant, to a large degree!
Anyway, if I were you, I’d buy your very own slice of The Dead Daisies version of a rock cake and enjoy the new album, as there is plenty on offer to digest!

‘Burn It Down‘ is a muscular tour-de-force, a tornado of pounding drums, pulverizing bass, screaming guitars and in-your-face raw vocals. Evoking the best of 70s Rock, with moments of Birmingham’s finest, blended with the early works of Boston’s best, ‘Burn It Down‘ will do just that: Burn down everything in it’s path until there is nothing left standing.

Rat Pak Records To Release John Corabi ‘Live 94’ (One Night In Nashville)
Famed vocalist of The Dead Daisies, John Corabi, is set to release his first-ever solo live album ‘Live 94 (One Night In Nashville)‘.
Corabi performs the classic self-titled 1994 Mötley Crüe album that he sang on after longtime Crüe vocalist Vince Neil stepped away from the role in 1992. “I love the way this record came out. I wanted something pure, and I think we’ve got it here!,” exclaims Corabi. Recorded live on October 27, 2015 during a stop on his Motley 94 tour, ‘Live 94 (One Night In Nashville)‘ documents the album in its entirety along with the bonus track ‘10,000 Miles‘ which was originally released as a bonus track on the Japanese version of the ‘Quaternary‘ EP.
The ‘Live 94 (One Night In Nashville)‘ band is comprised of John Corabi (Guitar/vocals), Jeremy Asbrock (Guitar/vocals), Phil Shouse (Guitar/vocals), Tommy Daley (Guitar) and Ian Corabi (Drums/percussions). The album was recorded live from The Basement in Nashville and contains no overdubs or backing tracks. The recording even includes 2 tracks of Corabi addressing the crowd about his time in Mötley Crüe .”I have to congratulate the guys in my band for helping me do a live album with no backing tracks or extras!!! It’s how it should’ve sounded live!!!,” Corabi adds.
Official release date for John Corabi ‘Live 94 (One Night In Nashville)‘ is Friday, February 16, 2018.

The Dead Daisies Announce Tour
The Dead Daisies have announced tour dates for April-May 2018, to coincide with the release of their eagerly-anticipated 4th studio album.
Fans of this dynamic Australian-American rock supergroup, which pools impeccable pedigree rock talent, will be able to see the band making some serious noise at 6 dates and venues in the U.K. then 20 in Europe (details below). The mighty 26-performance run gets underway at Garage in Glasgow on 8th April 2018 and winds up in Madrid on 12th May. Further dates for Japan, South America, USA, Canada, as well as European Festivals will be announced very soon!
