Hard Rock Hell announce HRH Road Trip XI – Ibiza 2020, which is being held on 6th to 13th May 2020. The line up includes: SKINDRED, Ted Poley (Danger Danger), REEF, Joe Lynn Turner, John Coghlan’s Quo, LA Guns, Jizzy Pearl’s Love/Hate, Ten Years After, Wayward Sos, Seething Akira, Massive, Midnite City, and more to be announced!

Bands – Bikes – Beers – Boats – Brotherhood: The 5 cornerstones of HRH Road Trips – the ultimate rock’n’roll holiday.

Held annually on the world-famous holiday island of Ibiza, the HRH RoadTrip has grown from its humble beginnings 10 years ago to become one of rock and metals most celebrated events.

The event attracts world famous rock and metal artists – such as Hawkwind, Whitesnake’s Bernie Marsden, Motorhead’s Phil Campbell, Reef, Rainbow’s Joe Lynn Turner, Skindred, Girlschool, LA Guns and The Quireboys – to play and soak up the sun and unique atmosphere of the Spanish leg of Hard Rock Hell.

Over 4000 rock fans attended this year’s event making it the biggest yet – and next year is shaping up to be even bigger and better.

Doesn’t matter if it’s lazing by the pool with banging tunes in the background, making shapes on the most famous dancefloors in the world such as Eden or taking in the spectacular sunsets on the beach … there’s something for everyone.

HRH Magazine’s Adam Kennedy had this to say about this year’s event “With the unpredictable nature of British summertime weather, a five-day hard rock festival located on the Balearic Island of Ibiza doesn’t seem like such a bad idea. You can leave those wellies at home, put your tent away, and comfortably enjoy the diverse bill of entertainment on display without worrying about having to dredge through muddy fields or being washed away by the rain.

As the White Isle awakens from its annual winter hibernation, flocks of revellers will arrive at the party capital of the world as HRH takes over San Antonio’s hotels, bars, and legendary night spots. The event itself once again offers a comprehensive bill of both established and emerging talent whilst encompassing acts that represent many of HRH festival’s different brands. There will also be the chance to take part in Ibiza traditions such as the customary HRH bike ride, pool and boat parties, or take the opportunity to experience the island’s world-famous sunsets with an early evening boat trip.

When Axl Rose penned the lyrics to Paradise City, he could well have been thinking about a location not too dissimilar to San Antonio. At the heart of Ibiza’s Rock n Roll paradise is one of the island’s most beloved super clubs “Eden”. Every year HRH Road Trip will take-over the famed night club and its many different rooms for the duration of the event. Nestled away between San Antonio Bay and the world-famous nightlife of San Antonio town, the 5,000 capacity club is the perfect spot to host an event such as HRH RTX.

Described by one festival punter as being like ‘Download with a pool’ HRH RTX entails several music filled days and plenty of sun, sea and San Miguel plus of course a healthy mix of rock, blues, metal, stoner and prog that will keep the party going until the wee hours during four music-filled club nights.”

HRH Road Trip XI is being held on 6th to 13th May 2020.  For all the details and packages visit www.hrhroadtrip.com or call 044+ 207 193 1164.

Fielding an awesome line-up of AOR talent, HRH AOR VII has seen bookings surge to the point where under a dozen room are still available. “We’ve only got eleven rooms left,” says CEO Jonni Davis, “And when they’re gone, they’re gone! BOOM!”

Headlining Friday night are the legendary UFO: an iconic band formed way back in 1969, with decades of excellence in the business. The band is fielding a kickass line-up: fronted by Phil Mogg (vocals), with Paul Raymond (keyboards and guitar), Andy Parker (drums), Vinnie Moore (lead guitar) and Rob de Luca (bass). UFO have long been known for their meaty riffs, distinctive hooks, the range and intelligence of their songwriting and carefully crafted lyrics, not to mention their stage presence and performance. A great chance to see a great British band!

Thursday’s headliners are Tyketto:  a hard rock band from New York City, formed in 1987 by former Waysted vocalist Danny Vaughn. Tyketto’s current line-up features Vaughn (lead vocals, acoustic guitar; also harmonica, mandolin, and percussion), Michael Clayton Arbeeny (drums, percussion, and vocals), Ged Rylands (keyboards and vocals), Chris Green (guitar and vocals) and Chris Childs (bass guitar). Tyketto have long been HRH favourites, with HRH Mag noting back in 2016, “Tyketto have forged their reputation on incendiary live shows fronted by the effervescent Danny Vaughn.” See them again at HRH AOR VII.

HRH are also delighted to announce an appearance of Dave Bickler (ex Survivor). Dave Bickler, a vocalist known for his range and power, was the frontman of Survivor between 1978 and1983, and is particularly known as the singer of the band’s seven-week Number One Billboard charts hit ‘The Eye of the Tiger’ (the theme tune to Rocky III). Sylvester Stallone himself asked Survivor to provide the theme song for the film, which also marked the big screen appearance of Mr T (as “Clubber” Lang), so dig out those gold chains and get jogging and rocking, Dave Bickler’s coming to HRH AOR VII!

In total, HRH AOR has already drawn together 26 for its 2019 line-up, including the above artists; also: The Electric Boys, Tigertailz, Mitch Malloy, Pretty Boy Floyd, Vega, Romeo’s Daughter, Kane’d, The Radio Sun, Bai Bang, Saints of Sin, Psycho Kiss, New Generation Superstars, Fahran, Captain Black Beard, Heartbreak Remedy, Void, Epic, Haxan, Sordid Lies, The Wicked Jackals, Corvus, Silent Jack, and Kiss the Gun.

The high demand isn’t surprising, given HRH’s rep for delivering the goods, such as an awesome line-up along with state of the art staging, high quality accommodation, beautiful surroundings in North Wales, and of course HRH’s trademark fun, shenanigans and rock-lovin’ community.

26 bands have now been announced, with MORE TO COME (including a major headliner for Saturday night)

For full and up-to-date listings, check the website (www.hrhaor.com), and follow the festival on social media.

HRH AOR VII takes place at Camp HRH, Pwllheli, North Wales, Gwynedd, between Thursday 14th  and Sunday 17th March, 2019, amidst its beautiful North Wales coastal surroundings.

Remember, HRH events sell out very quickly, and AOR VII is no exception, with just 11 bookings left, so if you want to experience this amazing event, snap up those few remaining tickets ASAP, either online at www.hrhaor.com, or ring the booking office on 0207 193 1164.

HRH have announced the storming second wave of bands who’ll play at the Glorious Twelfth Hard Rock Hell, rocking Camp HRH in Pwllheli, between Thursday 8th and Sunday 11th November 2018.

HRH are particularly proud to announce Thursday’s headliners: Michael Schenker Fest.

Michael Schenker has mesmerised the rock community since the ‘70s with his distinctive guitar playing style and solidified his place in music history. His playing has proven to be inimitable and hugely influential for several generations of guitar players. Last year, his amazing achievements were acknowledged and celebrated by the HRH community, whose votes earned Schenker the HRH Axeman Award at the premiere HRH Awards.

As lead guitarist of UFO, Michael Schenker wrote hits like ‘Doctor Doctor’ and ‘Rock Bottom’, whilst with the Scorpions he composed classics like ‘Lovedrive’, ‘Coast To Coast’ and ‘Holiday’. Not content with being a key player in these iconic groups, back in ‘79 Michael decided to forge his own path, which led him to found the legendary Michael Schenker Group (aka M.S.G.).

Recently, Michael has been recording with his band Michael Schenker Fest, who as we go to press, are preparing for the release of their forthcoming studio album ‘Resurrection’ (to be released on 2nd March). Michael Schenker Fest will be fielding a line-up of legends: original M.S.G musicians Ted Mckenna (drums, keys), Chris Glen (bass) and Steve Mann (guitar), also M.S.G. singers Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet and Robin McAuley, as well as Doogie White (of Michael Schenker’s Temple Of Rock).

In addition to MSF, HRH are also delighted to announce more bands joining the already impressive line-up: Rock Goddess, Vintage Caravan, Blitzkrieg, Hawklords, Demon, Witchfynde, The Wild!, The Dust Coda, VA ROCKS, Smoking Martha, Voodoo Blood, Anchor Lane, City of Thieves, The Bad Flowers, Blind River, deVience, Riders to Ruin, SINSIDE, Red Hawk Rising, Stand Amongst Giants, and Walkway!

These join an already impressive line-up of rock, including headliners Saxon and The Dead Daisies. Other bands already announced include Femme Fatale, Girlschool, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Tygers of Pan Tang, Thunderstick, The Rising Souls, The Dukes of Bordello, Renegade Twelve, Ryders Creed and there is still more to come later on in the year.

If you didn’t book early, you’re going to miss out on some amazing acts, as well as the usual HRH fun and fellowship,” says HRH’s CEO Jonni Davis, “We’ve been totally sold out since last November. What else would you expect? We’re Europe’s leading residential festival provider! And with a line-up like this? If you’re not already on board, check the website, call the hotline and join the waiting list. You might get lucky. Failing that, you’ll need a miracle.

The festival’s Eleventh Coming came to pass, but Jonni Davis and his team are already putting together their Glorious Twelfth for 2018.  HRH are thus proud to announce a first salvo of storming acts, chosen by the fans, who’ll be performing amidst the beautiful backdrop of North Wales, at Camp HRH in Pwllheli from 8th -11th November 2018.

The ever-mighty Saxon will be headlining HRH XII. Saxon need no introduction to fans of the genre, who’ll see their iconic logo in their mind’s eye the moment the band gets mentioned. Formed back in ’77, Saxon were at the forefront of the scene, much beloved by fans of Hard Rock Hell. What’s more, Saxon played the very first Hard Rock Hell (the Winter Ball, back in 2007). Having sold more than 15 million albums worldwide, the band also continues to influence later giants of the genre, like Metallica, Metallica, Mötley Crüe, and Pantera, and will be raising the rafters at HRH XII.

Co-headliners  The Dead Daisies are a formidable Australian-American outfit that brings together amazing talent for this collective project. The band has toured worldwide and was the first the first Western rock band to play Cuba after President Obama reopened trade ties with the country. An amazing achievement. Have a cigar, as the saying goes! The Dead Daisies will be bringing their world-famous Live and Loud sound to Hard Rock Hell next year.

Like Saxon, Girlschool played the very first Hard Rock Hell, way back when the world was young. Firm favourites of the HRH crowd, Girlschool have just won the HRH “Angels of Rock” award at the brand-new HRH AWARDS. They’re the longest running all-female rock band IN THE WORLD, and still strong and active after more than 35 years in the business.

Femme Fatale were due to play HRH XI, but weren’t able to do so because some of their guitarists were playing on another project. HRH are delighted to welcome the band to HRH XII. Listing “Loud Guitars, Vodka, Black Boots, Black Eyeliner, & Beer!” as the band’s interests, Femme Fatale will bring all this and more to Camp HRH next year!

Also announced in the very tasty first wave of bands playing the festival are Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Tygers of Pan Tang, Thunderstick, Ryders Creed, The Rising Souls, The Dukes of Bordello, and (appropriately for HRH XII) Renegade Twelve.

N.B. HRH has been busier and more popular than ever, particularly after the triumphant Eleventh Coming (which sold out LAST November). Tickets for HRX XII will sell out FAST, so book early! Ring Fleur on 0203 287 6684

All hail the Eleventh Coming! All hail Hard Rock Hell!

Following in the footsteps of Hard Rock Hell‘s first-decade flagship celebration, Hard Rock Hell XI strides ever onwards, with a might and hi-octane swagger of its own, adding an amazing 25 bands to its already impressive line-up, bringing the total to 44!

Saturday night headliners Black Star Riders describe themselves as “lifers in an industry less secure than a secret in a soap opera.” Formed from recent members of Thin Lizzy, Black Star Riders have been described as the next step in the evolution of the legendary band.

The Graveltones are a crowd-rousing 2 piece heavy blues/rock and roll band, influenced by great artists such as Captain Beefheart, John Lee Hooker and Queens of The Stone Age.

Wayward Sons were formed last year by Toby Jepson (former frontman of GUN and Little Angels). “I feel I have unfinished business,” Toby explained, “stories still left to tell, points to make, noise to create; all of the above.” HRH XI is proud to present this established artist’s latest project.

Other acts joining the festival’s super tasty line-up include HRH favourites Toseland, Swiss rockers Sideburn, the big bluesy Southern-tinged rock of Buffalo Summer, psych rockers Goldray, and the descendants of Taint: Hark and the powerful three piece from California IDLEWAR. Not to mention Dead City Ruins, Bad Touch, Western Sand, The Blanko, The Brink, King Creature, Black Whiskey, Wicked Stone, Those Damn Crows, King Breaker, Kikamora, Blind River, Chasing Dragons, Bad Dog, Killit, and Beth Blade & the Beautiful Disasters.

These great artists join the many awesome acts already announced for HRH XI: Dee Snider, Airbourne, Reef, Lynch Mob, Y&T, Tyketto, GUN, Von Hertzen Brothers, Black Aces, Burnt Out Wreck, The New Roses, Syron Vanes, Killcode, Florence Black, Syteria, The Jokers, Fire Red Empress, The Cut, and Louder Still. (N.B. Previously-announced artists Femme Fatale have some of their guitarists playing out on another project, so have moved to HRH XII.)

HRH XI has been totally sold out since last November. The festival will follow the first official HRH Awards on Wednesday 8th November (details to be announced soon), taking place between Thursday 9th and Sunday 12th Nov 2017, amidst the beautiful backdrop of North Wales, at Camp HRH in Pwllheli.

Even as Hard Rock Hell‘s triumphant flagship celebration of their first decade comes to a close,  HRH looks to the future with next year’s festival.

It’s no surprise that HRH have partied loud and hard in 2016, celebrating the landmark first 10 years of Hard Rock Hell on Earth.  The fans’ ears are still ringing,  hearts pounding, and the awesome buzz and energy of the festival is still in the air as the fans head home, but head honcho Jonni and his team are already loading up for the eleventh Hard Rock Hell.

HRH are proud to announce another kickass, fan-picked line-up for 2017: Australian powerhouse rockers Airbourne and classic 70s American hard rock/heavy metal band Y&T (originally formed as Yesterday & Today, and known as “one of the hardest-working blue-collar bands in hard rock history.”) From the U.K. come Glaswegian hard rockers GUN; also Syteria: the dynamic, female-fronted rock band from South Yorkshire. Then, adding European flavour to the proceedings, are The New Roses: Germany’s most exciting, successful new rock act.

HRH XI will take place between Thursday 9th and Sunday 12th Nov 2017, amidst the beautiful landscape of North Wales, at Camp HRH in Pwllheli. Once again the HRH community and family will come together for the ultimate mash-up of loud, live music and malarkey that makes up an HRH event, along with the quality accommodation you’d expect from Europe’s leading residential festivals.

“We’re not resting on our laurels or anything else: 2017 is going to be the biggest adventure yet!”  promises CEO Jonni Davis,  with trademark passion, “We’re taking the HRH experience out to Australia, NZ and Singapore; meanwhile some fresh new branches are growing from the HRH tree here in the U.K. – new genres and niches of rock and metal that our community want us to add into the mix. It’s going to be a Hell of a year, and of course we’ll still be delivering our core events. HRH XI is going to be the best yet! Bring it on!”

All hail the Eleventh Coming! All hail Hard Rock Hell 2017!

hrh-10th-anniversary

It’s hard to believe that Hard Rock Hell is now in its tenth cycle, but as you’d expect a mighty pulse of Rock runs deep through HRH’s heart and veins for the forthcoming celebration of its first decade.

This weekend isn’t about one particular band or another,” explains HRH CEO Jonni Davis, “This is what we’ve done: visit every corner of our past and present, and mash it up into one amazing experience. We’re bringing in bands from every corner of the globe (even 5 from Australia!) to make this a weekend to remember. The stage is set and we can’t wait to share it with the HRH faithful.”

jonni-davies-ceo-hrh
Jonni Davies CEO HRH

Looking right back to HRH’s beginnings, Jonni recalls, “I still remember clearly what happened when we announced our intentions at HRH 1. Industry were unsure, fans loved it, but it was the bands who really endorsed it, from Cthonic opening the show until Tesla closed it. It was a dream rollercoaster that became reality. Even Twisted Sister didn’t know what to expect until they encountered the HRH Roar firsthand. As Dee Snider asked at the time, “Where the f**k is Minehead??? Near Stonehenge, brother? Ahh, got it!

Unsurprisingly, HRH 1 went on to win “Event of the Year” at the Metal Hammer awards in Spring 2008, which was picked up by Biff Byford from Saxon. His reproof to all the naysayers and disbelievers was crystal clear: “You missed out! It was a great gig, and this just proves it. In their first year FFS!

Since HRH launched in 2007, the brand and its affiliates are now involved in over 200 shows a year worldwide. They boast an active international community of over 600K and HRH runs its own label, Off Yer Rocka Recordings, and the TV channel HRH TV on the side, with more new experiences and media developments to follow early in 2017.

Although we’re 10 years down the line, it feels like we only started our rock ‘n roll shenanigans yesterday. Chapter 2 in the evolution of HRH starts now, with a full year of special, one-off celebrations during 2017 to mark this momentous landmark in the Road of Rock.

Over the next few months, HRH will be filming a full-length documentary covering the whole story: the ups and downs, and the sheer pumping heart of HRH: our beloved fans and community – The HRH Veterans and Dark Circle.

One sign of Hard Rock Hell’s success and popularity is that HRH X has been sold out since last November, with 1600 on the waiting list, trying to get in since January this year.

We could have run two weekends this year,” explained HRH Live Director, Fleur Elliott, “and we could have made it bigger, but since Day One we have always said that our community would stay one size. This is what we’ve done: keeping it the way the fans want it. I really, really can’t wait to share this 10th adventure with everyone. I want them to sing their hearts out and leave totally voiceless!

Hard Rock Hell X takes place at Camp HRH, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, North Wales, 10-13 November 2016.
