Just in time for Halloween, Fatal Vision return with a little musical mischief! Drawing inspiration from Robert Louis Stevenson’s gothic classic, ‘Dr. Jekyll & Mrs. Hyde‘ brings a playful, darker twist to the band’s melodic rock sound, exploring the idea that appearances can be deceiving and that everyone may have another side waiting to emerge.
The video takes the concept well beyond the traditional music video format. Running over nine minutes, this Halloween mini-movie gives the band room to develop the story through a more cinematic approach, turning the new single into a complete audiovisual experience rather than simply a song accompanied by images.
Instead of following the usual conventions of a Halloween song, Fatal Vision approach the occasion through their own musical identity, combining their passion for classic Melodic Rock with a theme perfectly suited to the season.
‘Dr. Jekyll & Mrs. Hyde‘ is a completely new, standalone release, separate from the band’s latest album and its ongoing series of interconnected music videos.
The single follows ‘Four Sides to Every Story‘, Fatal Vision‘s fourth studio album, released worldwide on May 22nd, 2026, via Escape Music.
Featuring fourteen original songs, each accompanied by its own music video, the album represents the fourth season of the band’s interconnected visual series, following recurring characters through a continuing story of relationships, heartbreak and new beginnings.
Rooted in the AOR and melodic rock tradition of Survivor, Journey, Bad English, Heart, Van Halen and Asia, ‘Four Sides to Every Story‘ was produced by Simon Marwood, Juan Miguel Gomez Montant and JK Northrup, with mixing by JK Northrup and Ron Nevison. The record also features guest appearances by Phil X, Harry Hess, Jeff Scott Soto, Paul Laine, Alessandro Del Vecchio, David Forbes, Michael Shotton, Marc LaFrance, David Cagle and Christine Corless, among others.
