Critically acclaimed British Blues phenom guitarist Joanne Shaw Taylor is pleased to announce that she will return to the UK in May 2027 for a 8-date tour. Planet Rock will run a 48-hour ticket pre-sale at 10am GMT on Wednesday October 21st via Planet Rock.com.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am GMT on Friday October 23rd via Ticketmaster and joanneshawtaylor.com.
The tour kicks off at Harpenden, The Eric Morecambe Centre (May 2rd), followed by dates at Leeds, City Varieties Music Hall (May 3rd), Whitley Bay, Playhouse (May 4th), London, Cadogan Hall (May 6th), Bury St Edmunds, The Apex (May 7th), Manchester, Royal Northern College of Music (May 8th), Birmingham Town Hall (May 9th), and Glasgow, St Luke’s (May 11th).
VIP Meet & Greet tickets will be available for London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow from Joanne’s website.
The tour celebrates Joanne’s highly anticipated new album ‘The Trouble With Love‘ released by Journeyman Records on Friday October 23rd. The album is available on vinyl, CD and digital – here.
In addition to playing songs from her latest album ‘The Trouble With Love‘, Joanne will also perform songs from her rich album back catalogue including ‘Black & Gold‘, ‘Heavy Soul‘, ‘Nobody’s Fool‘, and ‘The Blues Album‘ which topped Billboard’s Official Blues Album Chart.
‘The Blues Album‘ was voted #1 Most Played Blues Album of 2021 by the Independent Blues Broadcaster’s Association. Joanne will also perform select songs from her older album ‘Reckless Heart‘, ‘Wild‘, ‘The Dirty Truth‘, ‘Almost Always Never‘, ‘Diamonds in the Dirt‘, and ‘White Sugar‘.
Always one to push boundaries, Joanne continues to flourish, ensuring that her music reaches her global fanbase. This relationship, alongside her innate creativity, guarantees a stream of sensational releases that cuts through the industry noise.
Discovered by Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) as a mere 16-year-old, and subsequently invited to tour the world, Joanne’s rise to stardom, propelled by endorsements from music giants like Stevie Wonder and Annie Lennox, remains unmatched.
With a discography boasting chart-toppers like ‘Reckless Heart‘, ‘The Blues Album‘, ‘Heavy Soul‘ (review here) and 2025’s ‘Black & Gold‘, Joanne is unstoppable. As she celebrates her rapturously received new studio album ‘The Trouble With Love‘, fans can experience her wonderful guitar playing, heartfelt vocals, and inspired songwriting.
