Conquest Music Split With Hillbilly Vegas

Award winning UK independent, Conquest Music have announced that they no longer have Hillbilly Vegas as a recording artist on the label.

The Oklahoma, USA based outfit were formed in 2011 and quickly became a popular band playing the local circuit of bars, county fairs and supporting established artists when they visited the state.

Conquest Music felt that the quality of songs and delivery from Hillbilly Vegas had something special, with international potential, so tracked them down.

In 2022 Hillbilly Vegas signed to the label, and ‘The Great Southern Hustle‘ was released.

The album was a collection of earlier recordings, supplemented by new tracks, and was launched with an intimate acoustic gig at the legendary Troubadour in London, UK.

The team at Planet Rock Radio also spotted that potential and have not only playlisted 6 of their tracks now, but also invited Hillbilly Vegas to perform at their Winter’s End and Planet Rockstock festivals in 2024. Main stage appearances at Maid of Stone and Steelhouse in 2025 saw the band firmly established on the rock circuit in the UK.

Throughout 2025, tracks from the forthcoming album were put out and the final stages of release planning was ongoing with Conquest Music.

Then in October 2025, Hillbilly Vegas, singer of the band, told Conquest Music that Hillbilly Vegas were signing to Quarto Valley Records in a worldwide deal.

“I am incredibly proud of what we managed to achieve in raising the profile of Hillbilly Vegas from zero, to being a hot property in just a couple of years. They have some great songs and are a good live band. Sadly, it seems I am a very poor judge of character.Alan Bambrough, Director, Conquest Music.

Conquest Music has new releases from Bernie Marsden, Mickey Jupp, The Ugly Guys, Vince Ray, White Skies and Book of Revelations in the coming months.

Also in the pipeline is a series of albums from those great bands around the London rock scene in the 80s, including Chariot, First Strike, The Grip, Horse (London), Kill City Dragons, Midnight Blue, Red Dogs, Sergeant, Steevi Jaimz and Tattooed Love Boys.
