Swedish Hard Rock group Arkado have released their new single ‘Phoenix And Stardust‘ The track features ZHIVA singer Anette Johansson as guest on vocals in a duet with Philip Lindstrand.

This is an anthem for two people who have survived a catastrophic event—a literal apocalypse, and thereby a life-shattering change. And are now embarking on a journey to start over.
Two persons in love, that have to leave the earth, since mankind has now managed to destroy it all. The “world they knew” has now ended. So they are forced to leave it all and as in “leaving behind ruins and ashes“.

They take destiny in the unknown, hoping to find a new place to live and settle (a new planet). 
Not knowing whats is coming, but they still have each other, and the undying love them in between. And they trust in that love, no matter what they are facing, ahead!

Summary:

Overall, the song and text is a beautiful blend of sci-fi/fantasy imagery and deep emotional resilience. 
 It is a story about leaving a ruined past behind, accepting the terrifying unknown, and trusting that love and partnership will be enough, to build a new future, in a new place, still unknown.
