Dennis Atlas, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and keyboardist for Toto, has released his intimate new single ‘Different World‘, offering a deeply personal preview of his upcoming solo album ‘Principle‘, set for global release on May 15th, 2026.

‘Different World‘ showcases a more introspective side of Atlas, stepping away from the high-energy performances that have defined his work with Toto. Built around a delicate piano arrangement, the track features Atlas performing all vocals and keyboards himself, highlighting both his musical sensitivity and emotional depth.
The single is accompanied by an official music video directed by Jeremiah Mott and edited by Atlas, further emphasizing the personal and handcrafted nature of the release.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind the track, Atlas explains:
“’Different World‘ is a song about a young lady whose love, care, and support sincerely changed my life forever. I don’t remember ever feeling like I was writing this song, simply playing it like it fell into my hands from another place, from a different world… perhaps she did too.”
