The Dead Collective have released their new single ‘Cracks‘, and a lyric video which can be viewed below:

Debut single ‘Cracks‘ showcases the bands evocative blend of driving riffs with the soaring vocals of vocalist/guitarist Oli Brown. Vocally reminiscent of the likes of Jeff Buckley, Chris Cornell and Shannon Hoon, the musical references are numerous and deep, with hints of Muse or Royal Blood – a mash of atmospheric rock, alternative rock, soul and roots.
“’Cracks‘ is a painfully raw track of honest self-reflection, descending into resentment and rage, lyrically unravelling the weight of being burdened by scars, shame, and a sense of failure. Intertwining between a delicate and haunting introspection, to a cacophony of rage and fury. It’s explosive and cathartic, while closing on a failing sense of acceptance.”
The Dead Collective are putting the finishing touches to a debut album – due later in 2026
Next month The Dead Collective will embark on their ‘Metamorphosis UK Tour‘. Support for the tour is from Anchor Lane & Kim Jennet (acoustic).
Anchor Lane have built a reputation as a thrilling and dynamic live act through several successful UK Tours at appearances at numerous music festivals such as Download, Isle Of Wight and Reading & Leeds.
Kim Jennet is a UK based solo rock artist known for her powerhouse, banshee like vocals and a strange presence that hits like a tornado.

About The Dead Collective:
Vocalist/guitarist Oli Brown was initially recognized as a Blues Musician, winning several awards as Best Guitarist, Best Band, Best Singer at the British Blues Awards. Through his solo career he toured and supported artists such as Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani, John Mayall and Buddy Guy.
Craving a change in musical direction and a departure from his roots, Oli formed the rock band RavenEye. Starting out with a 5 track EP that caught the attention of Slash who proceeded to bring the band on tour through Europe & USA. The band went on to release their debut album ‘NOVA’ and took their incendiary live headline show across USA, UK & Europe and South America. A European tour with KISS helped cement the band’s footprint in Europe, along with tours with Aerosmith, The Darkness, Halestorm, Blues Pills and major UK, US & European Festivals including Reading & Leeds, Download, Ramblin’ Man, Aftershock, Louder Than Life.
Oli used the time during the worldwide lockdown to reconnect with his own songwriting and lyrics. He formed The Dead Collective with guitarist Sam Wood and drummer Wayne Proctor. It all comes from a unique and honest place, the perfect blend of Oli‘s origins and distinctive alternative roots sound.. thus begins the next chapter…The Dead Collective.
Line-up:
Oli Brown- lead vocals, guitar
Sam Woods – guitar
Wayne Proctor – drums
