There’s no stopping JoanOvArc. Riding high on the success of their recent EP, ‘Escape The Fire‘, which delivered a run of singles championed by Kerrang! Radio and Planet Rock, alongside an extensive touring schedule, the unrelenting hard rockers continue their charge into 2026. Following last year’s singles, ‘You Don’t Know‘ and ‘Hey Sister‘, the band return with their hugely engulfing new single, ‘Mechanical Overlords‘, out now.

2026 promises to be a defining year for JoanOvArc as the band turns the page to their most exciting chapter yet. This includes the launch of the No More Masters tour, and the official introduction of Immy Cliff as the band’s new bass player. A multi-instrumentalist with a unique blend of classical training and hard rock power, Cliff brings renewed intensity, precision, and dynamic force to JoanOvArc’s live performances and future releases. Alongside the tour, more new music and festival appearances are planned, with the band’s live show remaining resolutely all killer, no filler.

Since forming in 2015, JoanOvArc have built a formidable legacy. From their debut album ‘Ride of Your Life‘, recorded at Rockfield Studios with legendary producer Gil Norton (Foo Fighters), to extensive global touring across Europe, Japan, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and the USA, including a headline performance at Hollywood’s iconic Viper Room, the band have consistently pushed boundaries and broken into new territories. With a discography that includes three acclaimed albums: ‘Ride of Your Life‘ (2016), ‘JoanOvArc‘ (2019), and ‘Invisible Enemy‘ (2022), alongside 2024’s ‘Escape The Fire‘ EP, their back catalogue is as impressive as it is expansive.

Now poised to enter a valiant new era, JoanOvArc’s evolution is fronted by the alluring power of ‘Mechanical Overlords‘. The band explain: “The single was inspired by the accelerating dominance of technology and humanity’s role in creating forces it can no longer control. The song reflects on technological hubris, digital ghosts, and the erosion of human agency.” With a packed live schedule throughout 2026, and further releases on the way, JoanOvArc are set to reaffirm their status as one of the UK’s must-see hard rock bands.
