Now, one year after that unforgettable night in 2024, McKagan presents ‘Lighthouse: Live From London‘, a powerful document of his performance and its unrelenting energy.
‘Fallen Ones‘, the second single and video from the live album releases today, shows how naturally McKagan’s latest material translates to the stage. While its studio version is already a standout on ‘Lighthouse‘, the live recording captures an added urgency and atmosphere, giving the song new dimension in front of an audience.

Backed by his core group of longtime collaborators – Mike Squires (bass, backing vocals), Michael Musburger (drums, backing vocals), Tim DiJulio (guitar, backing vocals), and Jeff Fielder (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals) – ‘Fallen Ones‘ becomes both intimate and anthemic. Their years of shared history come through in the tight interplay, driving rhythm, and a chemistry that turns the song into a standout highlight of the set.
‘Lighthouse: Live From London‘ is the brand-new live album and concert film from earMUSIC, recorded during Duff McKagan’s sold-out Lighthouse Tour stop at London’s Islington Assembly Hall in October 2024. The release showcases performances spanning McKagan’s career, including highlights from his 2023 solo album ‘Lighthouse‘, brought to life with the energy and chemistry of his longtime bandmates.
Adding to the night’s electricity, Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones joined McKagan on stage for memorable renditions of ‘Can’t Put Your Arms Around a Memory‘ and ‘Heroes‘, making the performance a true one-off moment in McKagan’s live history.

Produced by 3x GRAMMY® Award-winner Shooter Jennings, McKagan’s 2019 second solo album, ‘Tenderness‘, marked a powerful new chapter for the ever-evolving artist, taking on societal ills and his own personal transgressions against a rich sonic backdrop of Americana-fueled arrangements. Named by Loudwire as one of that year’s “50 Best Rock Albums” and hailed by Rolling Stone in a three-and-a-half (out of four)-starred rave as “an album full of beauty and heart…It’s music of conscience, heavy songs with a light touch,” the album includes the volatile rocker, ‘Chip Away‘, which earned extraordinary praise from the Maestro himself, Bob Dylan, who recently declared the song a personal favorite.
“There’s a Duff McKagan song called ‘Chip Away’ that has profound meaning for me,” Dylan told The Wall Street Journal. “It’s a graphic song. Chip away, chip away, like Michelangelo, breaking up solid marble stone to discover the form of King David inside. He didn’t build him from the ground up, he chipped away the stone until he discovered the king. It’s like my own songwriting, I overwrite something, then I chip away lines and phrases until I get to the real thing.”
