The Heavy Souls, the heavy blues rock powerhouse from the steel city of Sheffield, England are delighted to announce the release of their new single, ‘Caught In Your Spell‘, the fourth song to be released from their forthcoming debut album, ‘Have You Got Soul‘, set for release on Fri 31 January 2025.

Lead singer, Clarke Vaughan spoke about ‘Caught In Your Spell‘, “Interestingly the music was composed in Sheffield by the guys, while I wrote the lyrics on the west coast of America.
“I started working on the melodies and lyrics in San Francisco and during a drive out to Yosemite and down to Santa Cruz to surf. I then missed my flight to Vegas (self-inflicted and a whole other story) and ended up having to get a flight up to Seattle, which of course was the home of my favourite vocalist Chris Cornell. Here, I pretty much completed the melody and lyrics sat in Seattle airport which felt strangely special!
“The song is about exactly what it says… being caught in somebody’s spell of love, sex & desire. It depicts the paradox of love’s power both enchanting and empowering. And although you realise that you are caught in a spell, you are embroiled in it and can’t fight it.”
