Bio:

The Kyle Jordan Project is a modern rock band based in Victoria, B.C., Canada, delivering raw, fearless, and connected music. Officially formed in January 2025, the trio features Kyle Jordan May (background vocals, guitars, drums), Greg Van Kerkhof (lead vocals, bass), and Erick Gerber (vocals, guitars, synth). The band emerged from Kyle’s journey of resilience following a brain tumour diagnosis, with song-writing becoming a key outlet during recovery. Kyle connected with Greg, a progressive metal musician, who introduced Erick from the band Red Helen.

Their music blends modern rock influences, combining raw emotion and storytelling with the grit of bands like Royal Blood and The Glorious Sons. Their latest single, ‘Demons‘, stayed on global radio charts for eight weeks, peaking at #7 on the Worldwide Rock Charts. Known for its haunting melodies and anthemic chorus, the track resonates deeply with themes of struggle and triumph.

Inspired by a wide array of genres—from blues and Americana to modern pop and progressive metal—the band cites influences like Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, Killswitch Engage, and Billie Eilish. Proudly endorsed by Godin Guitars and signed to SODEH Records, The Kyle Jordan Project continues to push boundaries, crafting unique and powerful songs with plans for a 2026 tour.
