Swedish hard rock trio Supralunar turns the page with their new single ‘Bit By The Bug‘, out on December 6, 2024. This marks the first glimpse of their upcoming album ‘Dead Come To Dance‘, and it’s got that raw edge only change can bring. With Akane Delle Fave—a talented drummer straight out of Japan—joining the line-up, the band’s sound finds itself newly recharged.
Akane, who previously played in various bands in Japan, including death metal with Man After Man and a Deep Purple/Rainbow tribute band, brings a diverse range of influences and an intense energy to Supralunar. Under the mentorship of Hirotsugu Homma from Loudness, Akane honed her technical prowess, which shines through in this new release.
‘Bit By The Bug‘ was written by guitarist and vocalist Petri Tuulik and came together in a record time of just two months from conception to recording, an unprecedented pace for Supralunar. The song also comes with a music video, which will premiere alongside the single on December 6th.
“This song represents a new start for us,” says Petri Tuulik. “Akane’s drumming brought a fresh energy to the band, and her double bass drum work inspired much of the song’s feel.”
Known for their performances at Sweden Rock Festival, Skogsröjet, and The Malmö Festival, Supralunar blends melody, energy, and hard rock roots in a way that resonates with their loyal fanbase. With ‘Bit By The Bug‘, the band looks forward to reconnecting with fans and returning to the stage with renewed vigor.
Fans of Foo Fighters, Motörhead, Aerosmith, Beatles, King’s X, The Darkness, Electric Boys, and The Wildhearts will find ‘Bit By The Bug‘ an energetic and powerful addition to their playlists.

Line-up:
Petri Tuulik: Vocals & Guitar
Georgios “Jojje” Vamvatsicos: Bass
Akane Delle Fave: Drums
