Having worked together for the last three Kuko de Kobra albums, it was a logical consequence that John Sharling (the voice and brain behind Kuko de Kobra) and producer Marco Angioni (Street Fighter’s mastermind) collaborated together. The result is a celebration of the Winter Solstice: ‘Feel The Fire‘.
After the Winter Solstice, the Sun’s renewed fire can be felt already around the 24th of December. ‘Feel The Fire‘ celebrates the power of the Sun, returning strong.
Street Fighter’s concept is simple: we send back in time some of today’s music production possibilities and we check what a heavy metal band from 1986 can come out with.
A pack of urban outcasts has been recruited: the ugly city alleys are about to get uglier.
At the helm of this project is Marco Angioni (Meridian, Withering Surface), producer and multi-instrumentalist, who records most of the instruments: lead and rhythm guitars, keyboards, bass, and drums.
‘Second Hand Hero‘, Street Fighter’s debut album released in 2023, had two vocalists: Stefan Jensen (Exelerate) and Sofia Schmidt (Ethereal Kingdoms).
