The renowned Brazilian Symphonic Metal band Revengin, hailing from Rio de Janeiro, has just unveiled their latest single, ‘Decadent Feeling‘. With a powerful, cinematic flair, this song teases the highly anticipated album “Dark Dogma Embrace”, set for release in early 2025 under the Italian label Wormholedeath Records. Following the success of their previous single, ‘Circle of Mistakes‘, this brand-new release promises an impactful listening experience.
‘Decadent Feeling‘ delves into themes of love and disappointment, portraying how an initially passionate connection gradually shifts into platonic love through a series of heartbreaks. The song balances weight, elegance, a memorable melody, and an intense chorus, capturing the internal struggle between emotion and reason, leading to an inevitable sense of anguish.
This cinematic story will unfold in two parts: the first with ‘Decadent Feeling‘, filmed against the urban backdrop of Rio de Janeiro, and a second single shot at the mystical Vila Viking Brasil in São Paulo. Together, these visuals add a bold and striking layer to the narrative, highlighting Revengin’s artistic evolution.
The new single was produced by Caio Mendonça alongside the band at the renowned Tellus Studio, celebrated in the Brazilian metal scene. With mixing and mastering also handled by Mendonça, ‘Decadent Feeling‘ showcases the band’s sonic maturity and commitment to innovation.
‘Dark Dogma Embrace‘, Revengin’s second full album, is scheduled for release in early 2025 through Wormholedeath Records. The new lineup introduces fresh elements, including synthesizers and sequencers, further solidifying their presence on the global symphonic metal stage.
The current lineup features Bruna Rocha (vocals), Thiago Contrera (guitar/harsh vocals), Themys Barros (guitar), Diego Pirozzi (bass), and Nacife Jr. (drums). Renowned worldwide, Revengin has performed at major festivals, including Rock in Rio, and has toured across Europe and South America over their 16-year career.
