Frontman, Ali Shiach said, “Put it Down‘ on me is a song about chemistry; that unquestionable physical connection you find with a significant other. It’s moody, bluesy, full of sexual swagger and sounds exactly how it should feel. The track opens like the lighting of a match; drum rolls, guitar and passionate vocal swells find relief only when the riff finally drops in. It’s the album opener for this very reason, setting the scene perfectly for the palette of sonic delights that follow.

Meanwhile, Ali says ‘Come On Over‘ is, “… a real feel good moment on Late Night Lightning. It’s punchy and to the point – tambourine dancing throughout, atop layers of delicious organ and Telecaster twang. Soaring clean vocals celebrate a post-party atmosphere ‘I love the morning after last night, drinks were flowing into daylight’, whilst the rhythm section sits locked beneath the decoration, thunderously driving the song forwards. We love playing this one.
