UK Hard Rock Band One Last Day Release New Single

South East Hard Rockers One Last Day announce the release of their latest single, ‘No Chemical”, released today, 10th November along with a lyric video by Lee Waters Lyrics.

The long-awaited new single is the first to feature new band members Connor Burt and Huw Roch on drums and bass, respectively. It treads new ground for the band, using layers of synths alongside the expected huge guitar tones, while still maintaining the core sound of the band – huge songs with even larger hooks. The song has been mixed and mastered by Meyrick De La Fuente at Floodgate Audio.

With the lyric content being deeply personal, Alex comments: “‘No Chemical‘ lyrically tackles the subject of substance abuse or any addiction, your inspiration to stop and take control of your life with mine personally being my daughter. Again, it’s a track that can mean so many things for different people and I hope it resonates well with them and is an anthem for their life recovery no matter what that looks like right now. They are not alone.”

One Last Day are a modern hard rock band from the south of England who launched themselves fully during the pandemic. Combining an eclectic symphony of influences spanning rock, grunge and metal One Last Day produces a sound, described by ‘Accidental Music Reviewer’, as “hard rhythm driven, steel edged alternative rock” with vocals which are “menacing, sympathetic and awe inspiring all at once“. The band feels that this is a good summation!

Having toured the UK and Europe in 2023 with Polish metallers Nocny Kochanek, to rave reviews including; “One Last Day – Playing first, these mega talented people, with a huge passion and affection for music set the stage alight, firing up the atmosphere and bringing the people together with their music” – ‘Radioszokcja’ (translated from Polish), One Last Day are continually seeking new opportunities to share their music live, online or through engagement with new platforms.

It’s an interesting time to be setting out in the industry but One Last Day have accepted the challenge. These guys have already torn up stages from The Underworld in Camden, The Fleece in Bristol, The Fighting Cocks in Kingston, The Facebar in Reading, The Liquid Room in Edinburgh, Hangar34 in Liverpool, The Garage in London and The Baroeg in Rotterdam; this however, is just the start…

Line-up:
Alex Willox – Vocals

Gareth Stapleton – Guitar

John Harmsworth – Guitar

Huw Roch – Bass Guitar

Connor Burt – Drums
