Critically acclaimed British rock band The Hot One Two are pleased to announce the fifth single ‘Is It Hot’ from their debut album ‘Superbia’ (pronounced su-per-bia). Again, the wonderfully coloured artwork was designed in partnership with Freddie McKie, also known for his work with Massive Wagons.
This punk inspired driving rock n roll chant is an ode to Billy Big Boll*cks, we all know someone who thinks they are Gods gift, and it’s all the more satisfying to see them fall. Is It Hot? Is the saga of someone fighting their way to the top, the tribulations they face as they step on (and over) people to get there, the arrogance and sense of entitlement and superiority as they sit at the top, and their fall from grace as they realize the people they stepped on won’t hold them up any more.
The single will be released on September 22nd, 2023 followed by the album towards the end of the year.
To celebrate the release of the single, The Hot One Two will perform at The Tap n Tumbler in Nottingham on September 30th, 2023.
