One part of the band’s twin guitar-gun-slinging duo, Fred ‘Freddie’ Hale enthuses, “We are really excited for this show! Whilst we have been very busy playing the length and breadth of the land, unbelievably this will be our first headline show in central London, so performing there will be a bit of a nice landmark for us.”
Their “tricky” second album ‘Aces & Eights’ was released in 2021 to huge acclaim from critics and fans alike gaining them rave reviews across the board including; “These boys don’t just play it – they live it. 8/10” Powerplay Magazine, “Most certainly hit the jackpot” Hard Rock Hell Magazine and “Sons of Liberty keep the southern rock flag flying!” Classic Rock Magazine.
Going on to give a taste of what gig goers and their ever growing fanbase can expect, “Coming off the back of two headline tours and Winter’s End, we’re right in the live groove already this year, so the audience can expect a bit of an experience.” all with a mile wide grin as a statement of intent, “We will be playing a full set covering the classics from our back catalogue as well as all the hits from ‘Aces & Eights’, including ‘Damaged Reputation’, ‘Ruby Starr’, ‘Fire & Gasoline’ and the current single ‘Don’t Hide Behind Your Weakness’; as well as a fair few more from our latest album. We can’t wait to see everyone there.”
Fronted by the exuberant Rob Cooksley (Vocals), a twin guitar attack in Fred Hale & Andy ‘Moose’ Muse with a powerhouse rhythm section in Mark Thomas (Bass) and Steve Byrne (Drums) – the boys are a group of well-travelled musicians drawn together by a shared love of the music of the southern states of USA and their desire to spread this. An energetic band that delivers an authentic and fresh show, which has been evident in their crowd pleasing shows and festivals including Planet Rock Rockstock, Giants of Rock, Rockin’ The Bowl, Winters Storm, HRH Crows & Bully on The Rocks amongst many more, with the band about to have their busiest year touring to date.
