Pat McManus Band ‘Full Service Resumed’; Seventh Studio Album With Retrospective Bonuses!

Pat McManus, who is known by many from his former bands Mama’s Boys and Celtus and from the last fifteen years by his own Pat McManus Band is back with his seventh solo studio album ‘Full Service Resumed’. The album is to be reissued on CD through The Store For Music [Cat No SJPCD557] on 8 October 2021.

Pat said of the album, “Writing and recording music has always been both exciting and a positive challenge, it’s the reason I get up in the morning and it’s definitely in my DNA. With ‘Full Service Resumed’ I found myself in the unique position of both having time due to the pandemic, but also the difficulty of getting to a studio. In the end we got around the situation and personally it was a godsend to me as an artist to have something to motivate myself. The album, like most I record, has a diverse content, with my reflections on life I guess with the added bonus of revisiting some of my past with the 4 bonus tracks. Re-working and re-recording the old songs was interesting to say the least as you don’t want to disrespect the past, but a joy to revisit nonetheless“.

On ‘Full Service Resumed’, once again Pat has delivered a brilliant Rock and Blues album, this time with the added bonus of four extra reworked and re-recorded tracks from his vast back catalogue. This album is classic Pat McManus. Pat is an extraordinary musician who grew up in a family steeped in traditional music. He became an award-winning violinist at a very tender age, coming to Rock and Blues in his late teens. He quickly developed his phenomenal guitar and songwriting skills.

Working initially with his brothers, Pat McManus became known as a musician of rare talent and feel. With hundreds of shows under his belt, including big slots at Reading and Knebworth Festivals, and requests to tour with them from prominent musicians as diverse as Phil Lynott’s Thin Lizzy and Sheryl Crow. The Pat McManus Band itself was formed in 2008 and has gone from strength to strength, this is a player and performer who knows how to entertain, as ‘Full Service Resumed’ proves once again.
