What’s that? Some positive news from the heart of the Black country and West Midlands? We know, we know –everyone is used to bad news, and we are going out on a limb here. But it’s what passes for Summer in the UK, and after all we’ve been through, what could be better than setting up a deckchair in your garden, putting on your shades, tuning in the radio, and reaching for a beer?
Two eccentric, passionate, and positive sets of people have come together and collaborated to create a thing of beauty to highlight their respective expertise and craft -Karol and his award-winning Bloxwich-based New Invention Brewery, along with Willenhall based 80’s style hard rock band Shyyne.
New Invention Brewery is a small craft brewer whose beers are sold nationally (including in the world-famous Selfridges!). Shyyne like beer and music, and are just about to start recording their 3rd major release via WDFD Records…it’s a match made in heaven (or a brewery).
What’s more, Karol and the band have decided that some of the profits from this beer will go to Walsall’s St Giles’s Hospice to help support the incredible work they do. New Invention Brewery and Shyyne are the epitome of what makes the Black Country famous: hard work, dedication and new ideas borne from adversity. Both are now bouncing back, flourishing and finalising new & exciting plans;the start of this is the new beer Shyyne -Reach and Dream
So, there you are -some good news. God knows we all deserve to smile, don’t we?
