Candlebox To Return To The U.K. Summer 2019

Multi-Platinum U.S. Rockers Candlebox, who are best known for their iconic 90s hits ‘Far Behind‘ and ‘You‘, has revealed plans to return to the UK this summer for their first international run since 2017. Kicking off June 11 in Bristol, UK at Fleece, the routing will feature performances at some of the country’s most iconic venues, including King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow on June 16 and 02 Academy Islington in London on June 19 for the final show of the routing.

During these exclusive dates, the band will play songs from their break out, self-titled, debut album, which was certified 4X platinum, as well as hits from the rest of their six studio albums, including their most recent release ‘Disappearing In Airports‘.

It’s been almost two years since we’ve been to the U.K.,” said Kevin Martin, frontman for Candlebox. “We had such a blast touring behind the last album that we can’t wait to go back and spend some more time there playing new venues and seeing some new fans.

In addition to Martin, Candlebox members include Adam Kury on bass, Brian Quinn on lead guitar, Island Styles on guitar and Dave Krusen on drums.

Opening the shows is hard rock singer-songwriter Mark Daly, who hails from Corek, Ireland and recently unveiled his critically-acclaimed debut solo album ‘When The Stars Align‘.
