Johnny Lima has an indiegogo campaign to fund a brand new album. He has shared the following info.

As most of you know, I’m an independent artist. Meaning, I don’t have a record company, or management company financing this new album. I’ve dumped a lot of money into the making of this album so far, and I really need your help to finish it. Which is why I decided to reach out to you, the rock fan, for your help. 

I’ve been making albums since 1996, and I do it because I love making music, and I love writing a soundtrack to your life. Music heals, it brings people together, it gets us through the tough times, and I want to continue making music for you. With every album it keeps getting tougher and tougher for me to come up with the money it takes to properly make and sell an album. That’s where you come in.

I don’t expect anyone to give me something for nothing, so I’m going to do something a little different this time around. I only intend to put 10-11 songs on the official release of my new album, but I typically record more songs than needed. So instead of shelving the songs that don’t make the album, I’ve decided to release a Limited Edition 15 song CD that will only be available through this campaign.
