I am sharing this for a good friend of the show. And that is Derek McGowan, guitarist for Canadian rockers ‘Fraze Gang’

We are asking for your support to help our very close friend, of 25 years, Mike Box. For the second time in two years, Mike is battling a rare form of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Mike is married and has two children; Hayden, 9 & Carson, 6.  As you may imagine, the battle that Mike and his family are facing everyday, has not only been a strain on Mike physically & emotionally, however it has greatly affected their financial situation as well.  Over the last two years, Mike has been unable to work his regular shifts at Ford Motor Company, and the extensive chemo treatments leave him home bound, and off work for months.  Although Ford has a very good benefit plan, Mike’s medications alone, are costing him over two thousand dollars PER WEEK!
