Three of metal’s finest vocalists, known collectively as The Three TremorsTim “Ripper” Owens (Judas Priest, Iced Earth, Dio Disciples), Harry “The Tyrant” Conklin (Jag Panzer, atan’s Host, Titan Force), and Sean “The Hell Destroyer” Peck (Cage, Denner/Shermann, Death Dealer) – Steel Cartel Records have announced the release of the 3-disc digipak, called ‘The Three Tremors – The Solo Versions,’ and have just unveiled a new video for the track ‘Sonic Suicide.’

Sean: “This video has some cool footage from our recent round of touring and speaks to the state of our media world we live in today where free speech is constantly under attack. Heavy metal has always been on the frontline defending and rebelling against censorship in all of its forms.

Harry: “This reminds me of what it was like to be in high school and rocking out in your bedroom to heavy metal feeling like it was you against the world!

Tim: “This is one of my favorite songs on the record and it this radio edit version rocks. I like what they did with it and we felt strongly that is deserved a video to hammer home the strong message it has.

Each of the three singers perform the entire self-titled debut album alone, adding their own stylings and nuances to all 12 of the songs. This brings a fresh and completely new take on the ground-breaking debut release, and all three versions are incredible in their own right. Each of the discs has brand new original artwork from DUSAN MARCOVIC, and reflects the monstrous nature of this endeavor.

Included in the set is all new artwork and packaging, 3 separate discs (The Ripper version, The Tyrant Version, The Hell Destroyer Version) and all new photographs.

The Hell Destroyer: “We each sang and recorded the entire album and so much great material got left on the cutting room floor because of how we pieced together the original release. I felt we had a really cool product that we could put together and I started working with Dave Garcia to mix them and assemble them. We contacted the artist and had him paint some incredible cover art to match the ferocity of the recordings.

Ripper: “Everyone each had their own amazing version of the album and I was hoping we would find a way to get them released and now here they are.

The Tyrant: “This is a really cool, unique product that as a metal fan myself would want to have. The different approach we each took to the songs makes each version really fresh and interesting. Each guy really did a great job and it is definitely a trip the metal fan is going to enjoy.

Additionally, the band will be embarking on a US tour in 2020.

Harry “The Tyrant” Conklin – “We had a great time on the last US tour we did. We are changing up the set a little bit for this upcoming run and throwing some cool new surprises in. I think the people are going to love it.

Tim “Ripper” Owens – “I’m really looking forward to hitting some of these States that we missed last time and bringing our show to places like Texas and Florida, that we have not played yet.

Sean “The Hell Destroyer” Peck – “The album has been out for a while now, so people are more familiar with us as a band and the songs. We are following it up with the solo releases now so these new shows will be supporting that release. We will have some really radical new merchandise to go along with it, which I cannot wait to see. I love it that we are pounding America again and bringing this one of a kind metal experience to new cities as we expand our reach and get back to pounding the anvil!

As part of their Amazing Disgrace World Tour, The Quireboys have announced an extensive tour of the United States, including stops in California, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Denver, Houston, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Cleveland, New York and many more.

February sees the band, who have scored gold and platinum discs as part of their illustrious 35-year career, head to California to play the legendary Whisky A Go Go club in Hollywood, The Boardwalk in Orangevale and The House of Blues in Anaheim before embarking on a 14+ date run in March taking in a further 13 states across the country.

The lads were last in the States for their Black Eyed Sons Tour in 2013. Guitarist Guy Griffin said of the latest tour “We can’t wait to get back over to Hollywood, the spiritual home of sleaze, it’s been too long.  And to play Las Vegas will be a thrill – we will just have to keep Spike off the slot machines…”.

The Quireboys recently sold out their 35th Anniversary concert at London’s prestigious O2 Forum in Kentish Town – a show which is being released via digital download shortly, and then as part of a full 90-minute documentary for worldwide release via Amazon.

The band will bring their unique blend of blues and British rock’n’roll during February and March 2020, with more dates looking to be added shortly.

Line up:

Spike – Vocals
Guy Griffin – Guitar
Paul Guerin – Guitar
Keith Weir – Keyboards
Dave McCluskey – Drums
Gary Ivin – Bass

About The Quireboys…

Following the band’s inception in London, UK in 1984 – originally as The Choirboys, then The Queerboys, before settling on the less controversial name of The Quireboys – there followed 6 years of hard graft and personnel changes before the inevitable happened – a UK number 2 album.

Despite supporting a certain Guns N’ Roses at the legendary Hammersmith Odeon in London it was 1990’s A Bit of What You Fancy that brought the band to the attention of the public at large, and featured founder member Spike on vocals and new recruit Guy Griffin on guitar. The record showcased no fewer than 5 hit singles – including “Hey You” which peaked at number 5 in the US Billboard Rock Chart and number 14 in the UK Singles chart.

Spike and Guy have been the backbone of THE quintessential British rock’n’roll band ever since – a journey that has seen them play to 72,000 at 1990’s Monsters of Rock at Donington with the likes of Whitesnake, Aerosmith and Poison – supporting The Rolling Stones that same year, and joining Guns N’ Roses again a couple of years later on their “Use Your Illusion” tour.

Following their second studio album, 1993’s Bitter Sweet & Twisted, the band found the new mainstream rock landscape a difficult one – and it wasn’t until 2001 and the release of This is Rock’n’Roll that they found a new lease of life.

The public’s appetite for The Quireboys had returned and hasn’t waned since – 3 further studio releases (Well Oiled, Homewreckers & Heartbreakers, Halfpenny Dancer) were released on various labels from 2004 to 2009 before the band found their new – and permanent – home on Off Yer Rocka – the label of the renowned festival brand Hard Rock Hell.

The first 4 albums on Off Yer Rocka – Beautiful Curse (2013), Black Eyed Sons (2014), St Cecilia and the Gypsy Soul (2015), and Twisted Love (2016) – have not only grown the legacy of The Quireboys but have brought new fans to the fold. 2017’s White Trash Blues saw the band take a bold move – recording a collection of iconic blues numbers but with the signature Quireboys approach – a move that paid off with glowing reviews. Covering legends such as Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Freddie King and John Lee Hooker the album is a triumph of substance over style. The album produced a stunning single release – “Leaving Trunk” – a track written by Sleepy John Estes and made famous by the legendary Taj Mahal.

The Quireboys are certainly enjoying a revival – selling out venues around the world – with 2018 also taking in The Monsters of Rock Cruise, HRH AOR VI, Sweden Rock and Stonedeaf festivals. 2019 saw a brand new studio album “Amazing Disgrace” – their 12th – released to critical acclaim, with many citing it as their best yet.  So be a part of the never ending Quireboys party – as there’s no sign of Spike, Guy, Keith and Paul slowing down any time soon!

I’m extremely proud of what we were able to accomplish on this record,” states Queensrÿche vocalist Todd La Torre about ‘The Verdict‘. “The relentless dedication and hard work of everyone involved has been very rewarding. I am excited and looking forward to it no longer just belonging to us, but belonging to the world. We hope you all enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it!

Michael “Whip” Wilton (guitar) adds, “’The Verdict‘ is the most metal and the most progressive record we have made in a long time. I couldn’t possibly be more excited for everyone to hear this.

To support ‘The Verdict‘, Queensrÿche have also announced their spring U.S. headline tour today with special guests Fates Warning. The Cringe will be joining both bands on select dates. The tour will kick off on March 2nd in Orlando, making stops in major markets such as New York, Atlanta, Chicago and Los Angeles, and will wrap on April 3rd in Seattle. Queensrÿche’s classic debut full-length, ‘The Warning‘, and their sophomore release, ‘Rage for Order‘, reignited the flames of heavy, progressive, melodic hard rock and metal. With the release of the band’s third album, ‘Operation: Mindcrime‘, catapulted the band into mainstream success, single-handedly redefining the concept album and charged into the Top 40. A precision collection of near-perfect songs pushed ‘Empire‘ to triple platinum.

Silent Lucidity‘, off of the fourth LP, earned the band their second and third Grammy nominations, plus five nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards, where Queensrÿche picked up the Viewer’s Choice Award. Following the massive success of ‘Empire‘, the band released, ‘Promised Land‘, which entered the charts at #3 and became another platinum selling record.
