Midlands based hard rock band, The Bad Flowers, are set to release their debut studio album ‘Starting Gun on Friday 16th February 2018. The album is a follow up to 2016’s self-titled EP and shows the great progression of song writing and musicianship of The Bad Flowers over the past two years. The band will play an exclusive album launch show at the Birmingham Asylum 2 on Saturday 17th February 2018playing all the songs from the new album plus more surprises.

To dovetail the release of the debut album, The Bad Flowers will be special guests on Stone Broken’s nationwide 12 date UK tour that starts on Thursday 22nd February at The Haunt Brighton. The tour also includes an appearance at Planet Rock’s Winters End Festival.

A pre-sale of Starting Gunbegan on November 10th 2017 via the band website https://thebadflowers.tmstor.es. This includes the limited edition signed red vinyl edition of the album, exclusive t-shirts only available for pre-orders and hand drawn, plus signed, and numbered personalised drum heads.

Following the September release of their recent single ‘Thunder Child‘, The Bad Flowers we’re named as one of Planet Rock Radio’s “Ones To Watch”.  Thunder Child, the first single taken from Starting Gun, gained heavy airplay and was described by the station as “pure, dynamic, riff-heavy rock ‘n’ roll delivered with passion and prowess.” This also led to the band being asked to play at Planet Rock’s Christmas party supporting the Blues Pills at The Jazz Café in London on November 21st.

Starting Gunwas recorded at Vigo Studios, near the band’s hometown of Cannock. The band chose this studio because they wanted to make a record that sounded like their roots and had the chance to work with long-time friend of the band and producer Adam Beddow, who has recently helped produce Diamond Head’s most current work.

American singer-songwriter and guitarist Jared James Nichols and British rock band The Bad Flowers are thrilled to announce that they will be supporting Stone Broken on their February/March 2018 UK Tour.  The tour starts at the Brighton Haunt on Thursday 22nd February.

Planet Rock will start an exclusive 48-hour ticket pre-sale on Wednesday 25th October.  Tickets can be purchased via http://bit.ly/2gCIO5V.  Tickets will go on general sale on Friday 27th October via MyTickethttp://bit.ly/2y1BxEA.

The Wisconsin-born, Los Angles based singer and guitarist, Jared James Nichols, releases his new album “Black Magic” on Friday 27th October via Listenable Records. All tracks on the new album were recorded at The Boneyard in Boston as well as Johnny Depp’s home studio in Los Angeles and produced and co-written by Tony Perry and Jared James Nichols. Over the past four years Jared has built up a solid  reputation as a stunning heavy edged blues rock act and stage beast, having shared stages with the likes of ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Zaak Wylde, Glenn Hughes, Walter Trout, Blue Oyster Cult, UFO and Saxon.

The Bad Flowers formed from the depths of the Black Country in 2014 comprised of lead vocalist and guitarist, Tom Leighton, whose signature riffs, fuzz emotive guitar and pure vocals have distinctive sound unlike anybody else. Bassist Dale Tonks provides a deep heavy groove and tasty bass runs that underpins Karl Selickis’ chest pumping drums and impeccable rhythmic feel. The band will release a new single “Secrets” in January to support the release of their debut album, “Starting Gun“, released on February 16th, 2018. The band just finished supporting The Picturebooks on their recent UK tour.

The Bad Flowers, will release their new single ‘Thunder Child‘ on Friday 15th September. The single is supported by an official music video.

Bassist Dale Tonks provides a deep heavy groove and tasty bass runs that underpins Karl Selickis’ chest pumping drums and impeccable rhythmic feel.

The combination of these three formidable players makes The Bad Flowers a force to be reckoned with, forging a sound steeped in the raw, passionate energy of the Black Country’s 70’s heroes, but, at the same time, keeping the vibe very much in tune with the 21st century rock sensibilities.

To support the release of the new single, the 3-piece will embark on an 11-date UK tour. Five of the dates will see The Bad Flowers supporting The Picturebooks in October. All dates are listed below
