Buckcherry Will Release Their Eleventh Album, ‘Roar Like Thunder’, On 13th June 2025.

Buckcherry will release their eleventh album, ‘Roar Like Thunder‘, on 13th June 2025.

A band who never cease touring, be it monster headline tours or spots alongside the likes of Steel Panther and Alice CooperBuckcherry have somehow found the time to record their eleventh studio album ‘Roar Like Thunder‘.

The 2020s has seen the band go from strength-to-strength already: they achieved their first ever UK Top 40 album with 2021’s ‘Hellbound‘, and 2024 saw them play sold-out shows and upgrade venues on their first UK and Australian tours in five years in support of their latest album ‘Vol. 10‘. Moreover, Buckcherry celebrated the 20th anniversary of their multi-platinum album 15 this year. The album was reissued with newly recorded bonus tracks and was available on vinyl worldwide for the first time, which saw its debut in the UK Rock & Metal Album chart at #5.

The follow-up to ‘Vol. 10‘ (review here)(which made its mark across ten Official Charts listings, including a #4 spot in the UK Rock and Metal Album chart and #6 in the UK Independent Album chart), ‘Roar Like Thunder‘ is due to be no anomaly in this run of triumphs. Returning to Sienna Recording Studios in Nashville with long-time writing collaborator and renowned producer Marti Frederiksen [Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe, Ozzy Osbourne]to record the album along with Marti‘s son Evan Frederiksen, the two-time GRAMMY-nominated band have created an album that’s bursting at the seams with lightning-hot rock’n’roll. The album was mastered by Anthony Focx [Metallica, Aerosmith].

From the the horn-swelling swagger of ‘I Go Boom‘ and the honey-dripping riffs of ‘Blackout’, to the AC/DC stomp of ‘Come On‘ and the frantic runaway train rhythm of the title track, ‘Roar Like Thunder‘ sees a band that bring live rock’n’roll to the stage more days a year than the sun is seen in Britain and set that energy off like a bottle rocket in the studio.

Frontman Josh Todd – whose ultra keen ear for melody and disciplined daily singing practise sees his vocal prowess remain as head-turning as first heard on the band’s eponymous debut album in 1999 – comments: “’Roar Like Thunderrocks from beginning to end. It grooves, it thumps, and there is subject matter in each song everyone can relate to. Strap in and enjoy the ride.”

Stevie Dacanay, guitarist and the band’s co-writer with Josh, affirms: “It’s the pure, uncut, rock’n’roll music you’ve been jonesing for…”
