Lead singer, Clarke Vaughan spoke about ‘She Said‘, “The song about a relationship I was in for seven years. She wanted to go travelling for a short period, stay together and carry on as we were so ‘She Said‘! Which was cool but rather than tell the truth and break up prior to leaving, decided to break up 2 weeks in! Which I considered spineless, hence the line ‘load your spine, I really need the truth this time’. She immediately regretted the decision to break up and continued for months to chase but for me that was her bed made.”
