Indie Place Release Lyric Video For ‘In your Dark Place’

In Your Dark Place‘ is the new single and lyric video by classic metal project Indie Place.

The song is taken from his debut Ep ‘Persistent Visions‘, out now via Freemood – Heavy Load, record label of Tanzan Music Publishing.

80’s hard rock and classic heavy metal are the fuel that feeds Indie Place‘s music, a project created in 2016 by guitarist Gianfranco Previ, who wrote music, lyrics and produced the record.

The  five tracks on the Ep are influenced by the sound of bands like Def Leppard, Dokken and Queensryche, and a cover of Out of Control from ’81 ‘Denim and Leather’ album by Saxon is on the record’s tracklist as a tribute to the english band and the whole NWOBHM scene.

The classic sound is combined with the modern and expressive vocals by US singer Aiden who recorded his performance at the Studio Pros in Los Angeles along with the rythmic session.

All the guitars are played by Previ and the additional keyboards and backing vocals have been recorded by musicians Eric Castiglia and Marco Cossu. The lyrics are about a person who is facing mental disorder, visions and distortion of reality, that’s the main theme of ‘Persistent Visions‘.

Line up:

Gianfranco Previ : Rhythm and lead guitar

Aiden : Lead and backing vocals

Also contributed to the Indie Place project:

Eric Castiglia (additional backing vocals and Piano/Hammond on “Master of Ghosts”)
